while i would love to leave a nice review, i cant. facing homelessness with a 9 month old and partner is already extremely tiring- this hotel was nice at first then eventually its true colors started to show. everything seemed nice and put together. our family was actually living there (three of us) for a few weeks. first week there me and my boyfriend went to the car to smoke and had facetime set up so we could watch the baby from the car. maybe an hour prior i asked housekeeping for a towel or toilet paper or something of the sort. she told me to call the front desk and then theyd give us some. so i figured id wait to call so we could go and smoke. well im sitting in the car smoking and all of a sudden our door is getting knocked on. mind you our room was second floor in the middle of the hall. it. goes from them knocking to banging and yelling at our door while our baby is inside sleeping. so my boyfriend started running upstairs and by the time he got to our room two housekeeping staff were in our room. again while our baby was sleeping in there. (we did look for a do not disturb sign but ofc they didnt have them in every room and we had to ask for one of those too). i will say there was no bugs or roaches or anything that id seen. there was a second occasion my door was opened while i was in the room and i didnt notice until i turned to look at my door and it was swinging shut like someone swung it open and looked in then let it close. there was an extreme lack of consideration. having a baby in there after my door being opened definitely made me feel a type of way. exposed i guess. they also dont like giving spoons out and will lie to you and tell you they dont have them despite them having them every morning at breakfast. we gave them over 1500 dollars in less than 1 month of staying there. week two or three the manager told us he would give us a flat rate and we could stay weekly in our suite room we booked and were staying in which was super convenient because we were spending every paycheck just to stay there 1 week at a time. (our baby needed the space to move around. someone got us a walker so i could keep her off the floor). breakfast we also paid for every morning and didnt attend every morning because all they had to offer was waffles scrambled eggs the same two cereals everyday with yogurt and toast. the waffles are gummy anyway. our suite room had a floor leak. when it rained and you walked by the window water would seep up from under the floor boards and get out feet/socks wet. i swept and cleaned our room daily but it was still gross with the water. we went to rebook this morning after he told us we could stay in the room and he told us we had to leave because our room was already booked for the night. and then he told us the entire hotel was rented out for two nights and we couldnt book. the pool wasnt open and our experience was pretty shit so i asked for reimbursement or some type of money back for lying to us. we had to let food go to waste and lost money expecting to stay there and just rebook since he said we could. he got on our case about lighting incense but the hallways smells like cigarettes and weed smoke. having a baby that’s not something you want in your room. im also pregnant so the whole experience just wasnt something i would recommend. he made the whole rest of our week extremely hard considering he wasnt willing to give us...

The Good - the outside lighting is quite nice at night. The beds were comfortable and quiet. The shower water had good temperature and pressure. There was good climate control in the room. There was a working toilet. Dining room/lobby area was clean. It was a quiet, restful area. The Bhagavad Gita was next to the Bible in the room which was a nice touch.
The Bad - There was hard water from the tap. Stopper broken in tub - could not take a bath. Smoky smell when entering the room.
Cracked open sprinkler room maintenance area that children could easily wander inside. The pool was a lagoon of algae and bacteria due to a broken pump. The hotel staff did not think to put up a sign or close this toxic area to the public as we were able to easily enter it with our room key card.
"Full Breakfast" consisted of snotty scrambled eggs and a waffle self service station which created mealy waffles. Staff turned off self-service water after breakfast hours.
Despite being there 5 nights, our room was not cleaned once. I asked the front desk staff and was told that "we'll put you on the list." The next day, I asked the housekeeper cleaning the room right next to mine. After that, I gave up on any hope that our room would be cleaned. They were good about giving us clean towels when asked.
The Worst - about half way through our 5 day stay, a Spanish speaking work crew began tearing up the carpet in the hallway outside our room. There was no announcement or notice about this surprise. Thankfully, they only worked during regular business hours and not in the middle of the night. However, this did kick up a lot of dust. Luckily, no one in my family has asthma.
We had to renew our room key card every night despite be falsely reassured by front desk staff that the key card would definitely work our entire stay.
One night, we entered the lobby to renew our key card yet again only to find a kiosk to assist us. The woman on the screen asked which room I'd like a card for. She did not check my ID. The kiosk printed a room key card, and we went to bed. This was the scariest part of our trip because the security latch on our room was broken off and anyone could easily get a key card to any room. This was also scary because there was an intoxicated person banging on doors in our hallway for hours one night. Our neighbor told us he called the police, and the guy finally went away.
Taken together, the fantastic price was not worth our safety concerns and bizarre experiences...
Read moreWe stayed here out if convenience because we have a dog and they allow pets. This place needs to be renovated badly. It's old and it shows. They have electric air fresheners in the hallways in an attempt to "mask" smells but all they do is make it smell like a cross between cheap perfume, mustiness and funk. It seems there are guests staying here long term and are cooking in their rooms, which also accounts for all the different smells.
We had to ask for fresh bed linens for one of our rooms because one of the beds had stained sheets and the person at the desk was unapologetic. Once she gave us the linen she promptly told us we would have to change our own bed because housekeeping was gone for the day. Fine, I can make my own bed but it was her delivery of the message. As if we were inconveniencing her from scrolling on her phone. To top it off, the top sheet she gave us was damp so we had go take that back to her to get that changed. Again, her demeanor was robotic. When I asked her where we should put the stained linen, she told us to "just throw" it in the hallway, housekeeping would get it the next day.
Our room had a huge patch on the wall, I'm assuming from a hole. It hadn't even been painted over. Also, there was not sufficient lighting in the rooms. There was a desk but no desk lamp, just a lamp in the corner and the two small lamps next to the beds; hence, it was dark. There was a fridge but no microwave so I couldnt figure out how long-term guests were "cooking" in their rooms. The beds squeaked like old box spring beds. Even the kleenex holder in the bathroom had rust on it and the bathroom walls had questionable stains. It was a non-smoking facility but our room definitely smelled like it had previously been smoked in.
If you enjoy people playing loud music and arguing in the parking lot, arguing in their rooms and non-guests banging on doors late at night looking for "someone", this is the place for you.
Although we saw housekeeping in the morning cleaning rooms, it never smelled clean. Even when they were mopping the hallway, it didn't smell like disinfectant/cleanser was being used. Luckily, I brought my own Lysol, disinfectant wipes and Febreze to clean our rooms before unpacking.
This used to be a Best Western because that sign is now covered by the "Wyndham" sign. To whoever owns this place, they definitely need...
