Fridays at Towne Crossing Shopping Center in Burlington NJ. On March 4, we decided to go to Friday’s for drinks and appetizers. We got there in time for happy hour. Ordered the sampler, drinks, and some steakhouse meatballs. As you can see from the pics, the food not only looked horrible, the taste was worse than anything I’ve had in a long time. The meatballs were unseasoned, dry and flavorless. Who puts chimi churri sauce on meatballs?? And so not worth the price. I had them returned and taken off the menu. I asked for lightly fried buffalo wings, there was barely any sauce on the chicken which was super dry. They didn’t bother to even toss them in a bowl with the sauce. The potato skins were dry like they had been sitting for a while and the cheese got hard. Potstickers were probably the best item. Drinks were fine. I nibbled on the potstickers when the manager came over and asked how was everything. I said “horrible.” He smugly said “Yet you’re still eating…..” Why was that necessary?! He came to check on us (or so i thought). He never apologized, only said the meatballs are hit or miss sometimes and they would be taken off the check. He walked away. This experience left a bad taste on top of the lackluster, overcooked, dry, mediocre food. Our waiter however was wonderful and attentive and apologetic. The manager could use a crash course in customer service.

TGIF used to be the spot. Back in the day, it was all about fun vibes, solid food, and deals that didn’t break the bank. It had that yesteryear charm — like something your younger self would get excited about on a Friday night. So I went in hoping for a little throwback comfort. What I got instead felt more like a breakup with a high school crush: disappointing and overdue. The wait for our food was painfully long, and when it finally hit the table, it was hard to believe it had taken that much time. The mashed potatoes were just kind of smeared on the plate like someone gave up halfway through. The steak? Tougher than a pair of old boots. And my pasta came out completely wrong — no explanation, no apology, just… wrong. It’s not hard to see why TGIF locations are starting to disappear. The charm of yesteryear can’t carry a place that doesn’t seem to care anymore. The food didn’t live up to the nostalgia, the service was slow, and overall it just felt like a faded version of what it once was. Honestly, it’s a bummer. I wanted to love it for old times’ sake — but sometimes the past is best left in the past.

They say everything happens for a reason and today was no exception. I was meeting a friend for lunch and initially we decided on a location in the Moorestown area. Circumstances led us to TGI Fridays on a Friday. Arriving early we were promptly seated in a booth by the bar. Are waiter, Bowen, was phenomenal. He was not only patient but put up with are antics. Since I hadn't been to a Friday's in awhile I was happy they still served the Junebug, a melon flavored drink. While this isn't something I normally drink it's delicious. My friend ordered one too and she loved it. The large no longer comes in a supersized glass but with a cool carafe you'll think twice about keeping. We did.🤣For appetizers we ordered the pretzel sticks and green beans. My friend had a salmon dish for her main meal while I opted for mac and cheese and broccoli. Everything was delicious. If you haven't been there lately now is the time to return. Be sure to try a Junebug and those awesome pretzel apps.

My colleagues and I decided that since we were in the area on business that we would stop by and grab a bite. I told my colleagues that the TGI Friday brand has changed and not in a good way. The food is not very good matter of fact, eating a Stouffer’s TV dinner may actually taste better than what is served. My colleagues just laughed at me, but we all know at the end of the meal who was laughing !! 🤣 🤣

unfortunately, this place will be the next on the chopping block to go. It didn’t take very long for the TGI Fridays in Bensalem, Pennsylvania to get the chop. They went bankrupt this place as soon the follow. when we arrived, there was not one person at the front of house no waitresses or waiters to be seen just a completely empty restaurant ironically, we sat there for 10 minutes waiting for somebody to come out and seat us, we even contemplated seating ourselves. At the rec receiving our menus service getting drinks and just ordering was plain slow, as we sat there we contemplated going to a different restaurant, but they insist that we stayed the food came out and it was very plain boring. Tasteless not an ounce of seasoning bland that would describe eating at TGI Fridays today the days of those absolutely stunning, amazing french fries that were salty and tasty whose french fries are long gone. What you’re kind of left with is the way the appearance of the restaurant feels empty and bland. Just resembles the food just bland and tasteless. I just don’t understand why anybody eats in this place even the worst banquet TV dinner taste better. Ironically fresh form, dog food may actually taste better than eating this slop !!!

Do yourself a favor and say goodbye to this horrible place save your money if you want to eat crap just go to the grocery store and pick up some banquet TV dinners and you’ll taste crap don’t waste your money eating at this...

Worst experience I’ve ever had - walked in to no hostess which is fine. But after waiting, waiting, and waiting I finally walked around to the bar side where two employees saw me. Still…no one came over. After continuing to wait, another couple came in and after all of us waiting some more, the bartender finally came over to seat us. We asked for a high chair, she said no problem I’ll bring that right over and then never came back. Once our waiter came over and we said we were waiting for a high chair, he said we couldn’t have one at that table we had to move…to the table next to us which had a bar at the bottom that made her high chair stick out into the aisle. Our orders are taken and although we’re slightly annoyed, it’s fine. Our appetizer comes out and we were waiting to ask for a sauce. Our waiter comes back, we ask for sour cream and he says of course…and then proceeds to take our plate and walks away before we can say anything. He comes back 10 minutes later and when we tell him that we only asked for sour cream he then tells us he thought we were done and he had tossed all of the food left on our plate. He thought we were done with the food that we asked for a condiment for in order to eat it. So he then says he can make us potato skins and we tell him he threw away our potato skins and our wings and when he finally comes back to the table it’s just potato skins. We mention the wings again and another 10 minutes goes by before we get them. Also, luckily we checked the check before paying because we were almost charged for a full order of potato skins on top of our combo appetizer. Meanwhile, the restaurant was not busy and we were the only table seated in our area. Awful place and would not recommend to anyone...
