SandPiper I — Hotel in Weston

We stayed here 8/15-8/17. The room is dated, but clean. The grounds were clean and maintained. The pool area’s were generally clean, but dated in the Heron and Sandpiper complexes. The hot tubs were functional at Heron and the main building at Weston. The jets were ok in the hot tubs. The pool at Weston had a lot of kids jumping and splashing in your face. They could make one side of the pool adults only. Some tables with umbrellas had bags on them and I did not see anyone use those tables for over 50 minutes. So we baked in the sun. Very clean, clearly newly renovated. We got a double room in Sandpiper I, which was two singles joined together. One had a half kitchen, the other a full. The larger room had a king bed, amazing soaking pool with glass block knee wall, huge bedroom, and a 45° angled kitchen fully equipped. The smaller room was for the kids with a double bed and a foldout couch. Both rooms were very clean and organized and had two large flatscreen TVs. We were nervous before checking in due to mixed reviews, but we were so relieved when we walked in. Super happy with this setup! Definitely the nicer end of Vacation Village...

I took some pics while staying here. Basically this is a rental vs a timeshare. Most of what Vacation Village does is short term timeshare vacations. This buikding a rental.
