Decent spot , fair price. The room was well kept & clean with a nice TV and new furniture & paint. The staff is all friendly & helpful , breakfast is basic waffles & refrigerated boiled eggs. Some microwave egg sandwiches would be a nice addition. Had a bit of ... meh with one of the bed mattresses in my room , it just wasn't making the cut. The other was so-so. No idea if it was just that particular room. Budgets are tough lately , so not a dealbreaker , but when business picks up it may be time for a mattress upgrade. Overall , I'd stay again anytime 👍.

Very decent and mostly clean hotel. I personally dislike hardwood floors but I get why. Staff is very friendly and will make sure your stay is happy. I was moved to another room due to issues with my first. No problems. I have noticed there’s some lack of cleaning. There was hairs in my shower and on the counter from lack of just cleaning. Remodeled rooms need to be followed through as I’ve noticed the wallpaper is poorly applied or peeling, or air bubbles are clearly noticed. 4 stars because this is a decent hotel and customer service was very good.

Nice Atmosphere. Was clean and tidy. A memorable experience. Nice pillows. Good water pressure. Quiet and the food was actually hot. But as always, the Coffee SUCKS. This is Always an Issue with the Whole Entire Chain. I'd forgo the Breakfast if they would Just Do Something about the Lousy Coffee! I don't even drink it anymore. I go somewhere else. This alone changes my Attitude every time. I can tolerate the Powered scrambled eggs. Or the processed egg rounds and the soy sausage. With the tasteless potatoes. But I can't deal with the Coffee.

We became very agitated at this as it took 30 minutes for checking playing musical rooms .

This hotel was very clean & in a decent locale however our 1st room assigned had a shower head leaking issue with no maintenance people available for repairs at 6pm on a Saturday evening .

Our room was reassigned from 1st to 3rd floor , where we considered lodging elsewhere after a brief encounter with a heavily smoked in room ; supposedly in a non-smoking Hotel .

After going through a 2nd room assignment which we turned down without so much as turning on the lights ; the 3rd room assignment was fine . It wasn't handicapped-accessible-for showering , yet everything worked , bed was comfortable , TV modern & room was very clean .

I may stay here again , despite the faulty shower head issue with first room , the breakfast bar coffee was also good , yet no breakfast was offered during Covid delta surge .

I can't fault hotel for a broken shower head , although not having the ability to have a $35 or less spare replacement available for a desk clerk to quickly install was idiotic at best ; especially when maintenance is unavailable for a sold-out weekend , then offering us a room clearly smoked in , was to say the least highly annoying .

Additionally there were some loud conversations , swearing & other noises , in the back parking lot , possibly from people who weren't hotel guest staying at the hotel . Perhaps there should be security cameras or staff making sure there are not loitering people in the rear parking lot at midnight carrying on with some sort of domestic...

We stayed at this particular location twice within the weekend. We stayed on our way to Virginia and on ur way home as well. We were very happy with the room as it was very clean and the bathroom was spotless. The shower was great as well. We had a pet friendly room as we had our dog. The price was excellent as well. The breakfast was sufficient for the price but not great and we were not able to sit down and had to bring something small back to the room but again, that was not a priority for us. The check in process was very pleasant as the staff was very friendly and so nice. We arrived late at night both times and they were very accommodating, even had a treat for the dog which I thought was great. The check out process on the other hand was not as smooth. The first time, the manager was having a disagreement with a vendor and I had to wait and felt as though I was interrupting. This could have been handled away from the desk and not in front of hotel guests. The second time we checked out, it took a long time as they needed to find someone to check our room as the policy is to check for damage if you have a pet. I completely understand this policy but you are made to feel like an inconvenience. If the checkout was a pleasant as the check in that would make a world of difference. The last thing that happens when you leave a place of business is the thing you remember the most. Overall, the hotel was clean and neat and we...

All we can say is that this hotel is a gem in the heart of Wilkes-Barre. Although some travel sites might list hotel as a "budget hotel" the hotel is on par with some of the more trendier and brand name hotels in the area at a more reasonable price. We found the entire staff to be welcoming and competent. One thing that drew our immediate attention to this facility was it's cleanliness. The lobby, hallways, hospitality room and our guest room were immaculate. Even the cleanliness of the parking lot reflected the pride that the hotel staff takes in this establishment. And, if you are traveling with your pet, you should consider this hotel for your stay. Biscuits and clean-up bags are provided for your pet and the pet "potty area" is a short walk across the parking lot. There were other amenities that were provided for free-of-charge with your stay. Free internet service, HBO cable service, a local newspaper and the Wall Street Journal, free local phone calls, and of course, a very generous complimentary breakfast. A short walk from the entrance of the hotel leads you to a major restaurant chain which is known for it's good home style cooking in the event that you are not interested in venturing out for dining options. As we travel often with our pet, this facility is now on our "must" list for overnight accommodations when in the...
