I'm not one to typically write reviews but felt I needed to share our experience. 2 of my co-workers and I (all Honors Members) stayed 2 nights and upon pulling into the parking lot the hotel looked like a stone prison. Parking spaces were at a premium as all the spaces up front are mostly for restaurant customers. There are no spaces for Diamond Members! Lobby looked nice as it had recently been remodeled. Right outside my room I noticed a tray of room service dishes on the hallway floor that looked like they had been there for a day or so. Got to my room and it seemed clean and updated from recent reno also. Turned the heat up a bit and the HVAC in the room was so loud that I could hear it running 3 doors down. Used the sink in the bathroom and it was so clogged that it would fill up in less than a minute. Towels were also staged on top of back of the toilet which seems kind of gross, need some shelves opposite the toilet. Went down to the Shade restaurant for a quick drink and customer service was horrible. We sat at the couches right inside the door since the bar was full and a waitress not once stopped to ask if we needed anything. Went to the bar and still had to wait several minutes to get their attention. After we came back from dinner I wanted a bottle of water so I went to the vending machine on the 3rd floor and it was sold out. Went to the 4th and 2nd floors also, sold out. Went to the front desk to ask for a bottle of water and they were very reluctant to give me a bottle of water stating that they were $2.50 each (I was not paying for one at this point as these are the bottles you can get from Wal-Mart in a 24pk for $5). Breakfast not worth the $12+ they are charging (they failed to even give our Diamond Member breakfast tickets when he checked in). Came back the second night and sat in the same couches at Shade and still not once in 3 hrs did a waitress serve us. Had to go to the bar each time to get a drink. Then the DirectTV in the couch area went out. I asked the receptionist if she could fix it and she told me it was not working without even checking. Flagged down the bartender and she at least explained that the remotes had not been working very good and had not been fixed in a while but she would work on it. After 30 min we had to watch Bravo while every other TV in the place had sports on it, not cool. Went up to my room (still saw the same tray of room service dishes in the hall, only bigger this time). Overall the place looks nice once you get in but just is not all it seems to be. I still saw the room service dished in the hall on day 3 when we left. I mentioned to the front desk upon checkout that they might want to get the dished and fix the sink drain and the lady looked appalled that dishes were sitting there that long and immediately took action (finally). I would recommend the Hampton Inn down the street if you are looking for a decent place to stay with a...
Read moreAn unsanitary nightmare! Wish I could give a negative 5 for the room rating.
Upon our arrival the entrance to the hotel is impeccable and inviting but, unfortunately as we walk into our room, The door did not close all the way, the refrigerator door handle had old Filth that was not cleaned thoroughly And we noticed that the central air unit was not functioning correctly, So we called the front desk to see whether they can send a maintenance person up to check the thermostat and we had to wait until 5:00 p.m., from check-in at 2pm in order for this to happen. After 5:00 p.m. We may the attempt to have the maintenance person come up again and at this point we were informed that the central air unit does not work in that room and there was a note in their computer system indicating, That the unit did not work in the room and should not be offered. After we were informed about this mishap with the Central air issue, The hotel offered another room and Once inside our second room we noticed that the refrigerator door handle had old filth that was not cleaned thoroughly “too” and the bathroom was absolutely atrocious! On the side of the toilet bowl next to the floor, the base of the toilet had dried pee on the base of the toilet, The bathtub had two dirt rings around the tub from the previous guests with hair and other bodily debris and inside of the soap dish, there was an old bar of soap left behind. We were offered three other rooms for accommodation but unfortunately the bathrooms were just as filthy! They say looks can be deceiving and that is an absolute fact because walking into this establishment, you would not think you would encounter this level of filth and sheer lack of regard for sanitary practices in an established hotel. We made a call to the front desk to see if they can have room service come to clean the pee off of the side of the toilet and after two attempts, the individual did not clean the pee which inevitably the front desk representative came upstairs personally to clean the pee herself. As a Hilton honors member, who travels frequently I have never encountered this level of disgust! In conjunction with this I have also included pictures of cobwebs, stains on the walls in the pee around the base...
Read moreGot stuck here when my flight was cancelled due to weather and the airline put me up here. A group of us was told multiple times a shuttle would arrive in 10-15 minutes, when it took 25 from the first call. This wouldn't have been a problem if it wasn't 95 degrees and muggy out.||Three people working the desk got people checked in fairly quickly even though they said the hotel was full. Got to my room and found it was 78 degrees in there. I understand they were trying to save electricity, but it still wasn't pleasant to arrive to. The AC was rattling when I got there around 8 PM- turned it off, changed the temp, gave it time.....but it didn't stop rattling until 11:30 PM. While I was trying to fall asleep, the front desk called twice and texted me to ask what room I was in. Apparently they checked me into the wrong room, then put it on me when they tried to check someone else into a room they thought was empty. It was a really nice touch as I was trying to sleep through the rattle in a very hot room. The next morning I woke up, threw the blanket off me, and found what I'm telling myself was coffee stains on the inside of the comforter. All of this just made an obnoxious and inconvenient night that much worse.||Pros:|-Greeted as a Hilton Honors member even on an airline reservation|-Cookies available from the warmer at check-in (allergy-sensitive cookies available)|-Mattress and pillows were comfortable|-Great water pressure in the shower (I don't take this for granted)|-Good cable TV channel lineup|-USB-C charger on the table lamp||Cons:|-Didn't know what room guests were in and then called and texted multiple times to clean up|-Plaster on the ceiling was falling off and other spots had clearly been patched|-The AC rattle that didn't end (or cool the room)|-Stains on the comforters were the cherry on the sundae||There are much better hotel options, even in the Hilton family, within 2 miles of Bradley. Can confirm from personal experience that they would be a...
