iām not even sure where to start. first off, our server tabitha never even asked my table what we wanted to drink, forgot to take our salad orders back to the kitchen for 15 minutes, lost one of the salad papers (listing what was wanted on the salads), and gave the wrong salads when finally delivering them to our table after almost 40 minutes. the appetizer was out before the salad. this made very little sense to my table because while salads should take only about 10 minutes (on the slow night it was tonight) the chicken tenders and mozzarella sticks take much longer. When the correction of the salads was made there were still items missing on the salads when brought back and a large amount of the leaves were browning. i feel as though when i go to a restaurant i shouldnāt have to pick through my food to make sure it is okay to eat and that is what my family had to do in order to not eat the bad leaves. we would have notified our server of this, but she did not once come back to the table to ask for anything other than handing our food and running away. i finally asked for an ice tea and she ran away from the table before asking the other two customers at the table if they too would like anything to drink. at one point i had to go to the front of the restaurant to try and find someone to ask for drink orders, but no one was found except the hostess. tabitha seemed to be sprinting around the restaurant everywhere but our table even though she was only serving us and one other group of customers. this whole experience would be a completely different story if the restaurant was busy, but it was not. then when the main dishes were served there were about 10 fries on the plate. i am throughly disgusted with my experience here and do not feel as though the rating this restaurant has is well deserved. not to mention another group leaving because after 30 minutes their drinks were still not brought to their table and their order...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThey had a special the day we came. Which we were excited when we saw it online while trying to find somewhere to eat. We had just got in town from traveling. When we entered my son's unfortunate first words were it smells funny in here. Then the floors had a sticky, tackyness to them when we walked in them. This made me a bit uneasy. When being seated, my mom was not happy they had placed us right next to the bar with a 6-year-old when there was other seating away from the bar. Upon seating, there was food on the booth seats. While witnessing our poor waitress running around, I understood better why they placed us by the bar since I guess she was the only one working. She was running the bar, the floor, the register, and the other side of the floor. This girl was handling what seemed to be all of the floor. We saw other people show up later but still really only saw her running around. One lady brought out our food and was pleasantly nice. But the waitress we had was trying to do bar, and that entire floor around the bar. She didn't get much time to check on things in full. She did a great job handling so much. We had dirty silverware. One knife had food and 3 forks as well. The place needs a makeover or some upgrading. The food was cooked well, not sure why the ribs were placed on top of the steak. We got some desserts to go home with, which I do feel they should give you the option to not have ice cream on the item. So if you wanted to take it home you could but that option was not given even when stated we wanted it, but due to staying in a hotel it had no freezer, and didn't think it was an option but the multi-talented waitress did check about the one dessert. The carrot cake, because we wanted to know if it had coconut, which it did. I asked if we could get some forks to go since we were at a hotel. She was very nice and put spoons in the bag for us. She rocked it under the pressure and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMany restaurant reviews evaluate the food but I am going to focus on the service. One server/bartender consistently provides exceptional, 5-star service. I am talking about Laura. Laura has been with Ruby Tuesday for many years which makes her an expert with the menu and an extraordinary server. We first discovered Laura in 2013 and have been loyal customers ever since. She is outstanding at monitoring the table and anticipating our needs. A perfect example of this is that she is always on top of the drink refills. I never have to ask her to refill my Diet Coke. She does it automatically. She is also constantly clearing plates to make room for the next course. She even brings us extra napkins without us asking. Another aspect of her service that is excellent is that we never feel rushed. She spaces out each course perfectly so that we can enjoy our dining experience. Since we drive 45 minutes each way to visit the restaurant, we greatly appreciate the ability to take our time when eating. She is also a very hard worker. We have observed times when the restaurant appears short staffed and Laura is covering many tables at once. Yet, she still has the ability to multitask while being very efficient and professional. Overall, I canāt say enough good things about Laura. We compare other servers at other restaurants to her because she creates such a fantastic customer experience. She is always very personable and greets us with a hello and a smile. She always wishes us a great weekend and says goodbye when we leave. A person can clearly see how hard she works to make every customer experience an amazing one. She is definitely the gold star standard when it comes to being a server. Next time you visit this location, ask for her, you will not be...
