My YouTube is ORO FLOWS and I have stayed at A LOT of hotels and here's my brutally honest review. Don't just listen to whatever I say. Look at the photos and see for yourself. The place is great. I stayed on a Sunday and payed about $75 during a slow period. This 2 Star hotel sets the bar for what a 2 star hotel should be. Here are 3 Pros and 3 Cons of staying at this hotel:
Pros:
Value!! You get MORE than what you pay for here. These kind of prices in a high tourist popular area can get you in trouble in Miami. Quality. Shower worked without temperature issues. Room was clean. Check in was less than 5 minutes. It came with a refrigerator, microwave, and all the usual goods that 3 star hotels come with. Quiet. The photos say it all. This place was EMPTY. No creepy people lurking around in the middle of the night mean mugging everyone they see while drinking a beer and smoking a cigarette. Just peace and quiet.
Cons:
My review is based on a quiet day so what this place is like in FULL season I dont know. Office closes at 10pm so if you need help after hours good luck. Not saying you wont get it but I wouldn't chance it. At 90% of the hotels I stay at there is always a strand of hair or 2 on the clean white sheets and this place is no exception. I wish all hotels would double check and pick off all hair but it unfortunately is the standard. Unless it looks like a barbershop floor I typically ignore the issue and clean it myself.
Breakfest is exactly what a 2 star breakfest should be. Cereal, Milk, maybe a standard muffin or fruit.

Fridge but no freezer part (if that matters to you). Only 1 bar of soap in the bathroom & toilet paper & tissues were very thin. Towels were sooooo soft and comfy. Stand up shower, no tub (in case you have kids & need that option). No hot tub but again, not a deal breaker. We got to choose hotel side or motel side and we chose motel. I like the option to just drive to our door; however, also an upstairs to not guaranteed convenience. I feel motels are quieter overall. Downside to that was you had to walk across the parking lot. We had a rain/snow/sleet mixture and the parking lot dips between the buildings so our feet got wet walking across the lot (whether it was coming/going, pool time or checking in/out). Pool was a great size and plenty of spots for parents to sit around to watch the children. Grab & go continental breakfast due to covid. We were there for volleyball and it included wristbands for admission to the sports complex. When we made reservations 3 months ago, it included waterpark passes; however, that changed just this month and that offer was no longer valid, which was a bummer as that added to our overall costs. Close enough to downtown to walk; however, this time of year parking was plenty so we...
Read moreQuiet, clean and roomy suite. Our family stayed in room 117 for 2 nights. It had 3 queen size beds, one of the beds had it own separate room with a door, ac and flat screen TV. Perfect for our 15 year old to hook up his PS5 and have privacy and my husband and I had the rest of the suite for ourselves, we each had a queen size bed and a flat screen tv. The room has plenty of dresser space, a table and chairs, a microwave, mini fridge and zero entry shower. ||The Pros…|+ spacious, clean room at a reasonable price|+ huge indoor pool that was clean and towels|+ room 117, we parked right in front of our door, and walked about 50 steps to the pool, ice, vending and small arcade in the building across the lot. So nice.|+ friendly workers, free breakfast and parking|+ quiet and peaceful, yet minutes from the action.||The Cons….|- probably the worst pillows we have ever had in a hotel, like squares of foam. Bad. Bring your own if you need a good pillow.|- if you arrive after 5pm, you might be parking away from the building, behind the building. ||We will definitely stay again!...
