Great Harvest Bread Co. — Restaurant in Wisconsin Dells

We make a point to visit every year, and it’s become one of our favorite traditions. No matter how many times we return, the warm, welcoming atmosphere and incredible smells never get old. It’s the perfect stop to take a break from the hustle of the Dells and especially refreshing on hot days, thanks to the cool interior and laid-back vibe.

During our most recent visit, we picked up our must-have Cinnamon Chip loaf. A sweet, perfectly textured bread that’s always a hit in our house. Each slice is packed with just the right amount of cinnamon and melty chips, making it ideal for breakfast, snacks, or even dessert. We also decided to try something new this time and grabbed a loaf of classic white bread, which was wonderfully soft and fresh—perfect for sandwiches or toast.

As always, the staff were friendly and happy to offer samples, which helped us narrow down our choices (and convinced us we need to try even more next year!). We also appreciated the clean, well-maintained restroom. It may be a small thing, but always welcome during a day out!

I feel like it was so bad I just had to do this. went in for lunch, had a couple sandwiches and a salad and they where ok.

As we waited for our food we naturally started to look around and we couldn’t help but notice just how dirty and disgusting this place is. Everywhere I looked there was something extra extra dirty, dis-organized, and just random things like a change machine that didn’t appear operational and an office printer out where there should be seating. Dead plants all around the windows. Globs of dust literally pouring out of the hvac and fronts of coolers. The couches should have been retired years ago. The owner of this great harvest should be ashamed of just how terrible this place looks and what it does to the brand. When paying $40 for a kid sandwich, a salad, and another sandwich you should have some extra funds available for even a weekly cleaner. Took forever to get our food the first 2 orders got taken to another table people at the table told the lady it wasn’t theirs then took our other 2 orders to another table and they ate our food when we went to ask where our food was the cook “one of the owners” turned around and said the food going to take a while to cook and when i told them they took our food to another table the cook and his wife “other owner” said it wasnt true after another 20 mins of waiting she realized what she did and retook our order waited another 20 mins for our food to come out didnt apologize didnt say absolutely anything about the situation the other people ate our food and still got their original sandwichs in a bag to go!
