Our recent stay at Extended Stay America at Woodbridge was nothing short of a nightmare. We had booked and confirmed two studio suites well in advance only to arrive and be told that the hotel was overbooked. The front desk person, Juwaan, displayed a shocking lack of professionalism and courtesy. He was extremely unhelpful and rude and could not handle the situation at all. Since the hotel was overbooked he only provided us one room and for the second room he sent us to a nearby Piscataway Extended stay where apparently there was only one room left. In spite of knowing there is only one room available in another hotel he sent one more guest to the same hotel. Unfortunately, the other guest reached there before us and we were left with just one room for the night despite having confirmed reservations. To add insult to injury, we have yet to receive a refund for the room we never received. The one room we were left with, it was in deplorable condition. There was no soap, the carpet was torn and tattered, and the cabinet doors were broken. The bathtub was in bad shape and overall the room condition was extremely bad. This experience has been nothing short of a disaster. Extended Stay America's utter disregard for customer service, coupled with the appalling condition of the room, reflects a severe lack of care for their guests. We do not recommend staying at this establishment, as it left us without a room and provided subpar accommodations. And now we have to fight with them to get the refunds for one room. Avoid this place at all costs!"

This was probably one of the worst places we have ever stayed at. From the moment we checked in and walked into the room it smelled and they had no toilet paper which we had to walk to the main office to pick some up. We later found out after we noticed our trash wasn't being picked up that this hotel had an indoor trash collecting room which was literally inside and right next to our room which we than realized why our room smelled so badly. The night we checked in, we notified the front desk some issues in our room and some being of safety issues like a broken outlet which shocked me when pluging my cell phone, a fire alarm handling by its wires and the glass closet door which was off its track and leaning in a manner where it could fall onto the bed, which I had to personally reposition the door to keep it from falling onto my kids bed. The front desk and maintenance ignored our requests to have these items taken care of even after showing them pictures. All they kept saying was that maintenance would get to it and we kept reminding them over and over again but not got resolved. The towels were disgusting and sheets had blood stains, cabinets door hinges broken and the tub was so nasty, but the smell was just awful. Overall this was a horrible experience staying there and we will never stay there again. I just don't understand why they would have a trash collection room inside the hotel and right next to a room, it's disgusting and completely unsanitary.

Can I give NO stars at all, like a big fat ZERO? The Hotel room = soooo dirty- not cleaned properly at all. I took pics all around the room & posted a few. I'm just gonna say-- Ewww, just EWWW!! there's hairs in the bed, & no its not mine, and also under the sheet on the padding, dirty dust funk on all the light fixtures in corners of tub, back of toilet and around the room in general. The stove top is just disgraceful, I know it can be perfect, but is it too much to take alittl steel wool to it?! Oh, and the mirrored closet, there's some gucky stuff on there, I'm just not sure exactly what it is.. its so late, we're both exhausted, so, just keeping this room, thankfully it's just one night.. I'm sure the rest of the rooms are no better anyway..If we get bed bugs, or anything else, I know where it's from!! CLEAN IT UP!!!

Hi, my mother and brother have been living residing. I should say in this establishment for 10 years and I have been visiting of course my mom on an every other day basis !! what I have witnessed and experienced. I am so disgusted about I wasn’t gonna say anything, but my mother said express your concerns, and my brother said it too, so here I go ! There was a woman staying a few doors down from us for about a year pleasant lovely brought the whole second floor food every day. Charming didn’t bother anybody ! what I saw the staff actually I’m not gonna say the staff alone ..was just doing what they were told by the General manager, a.k.a. BOSS that runs this establishment I saw she did nothing but pick on her, harassed her taking her for everything she had, and it was very shameful! It was sad because there was nothing that you could ask for or do that this woman wouldn’t do for you. She helped everybody else with bread and food and whatever you wanted every day on a daily basis as well as the staff, but most of the staff wouldn’t even look at her if they knew that, the head woman that was in charge would find out if they were in fear of their job and that’s not fair !!! Results of this they made her leave after a year being here on Thursday of this week! watching her leave I, and a few other people I would say a lot of other people were so sickened and sad to watch her go the way she had to go. She didn’t gossip it was real tears that we saw, but she would never say what or why she was so upset or looked so down, because she was always so cheerful and bright with us. !! What they did was disgusting just unbelievable ! 10 years my mother and brother reside As I watch, though, with my own eyes, she would always send food home for me my family as I left my mother and brothers suite!! But she did that for about the whole second floor, some of the third-floor as well as the staff here I just want to say I’m sickend to what I saw that general manager miss Green or queen as she acted as!! do!! and the way this poor woman came from bubbly and loving and warm in the beginning to just so down…. she never stop giving us love!! It’s horrifying and these few days without her here has been so different. She’s been here for a year with her warmth her smile her cheer helping everyone she could help bringing them food daily, as well as the staff ! but the general manager here miss Greet just could not let it go.!! If you ask me, my mother, my brother, and I think that Miss Green was very intimidated by her, and it led to her discriminating against her and pushing her out while this woman laid helpless and did nothing wrong, but work every day and help anybody and everybody she could!!! Including the staff morning, staff, and evening staff, but they would only speak to her, if Miss Green was not around, and she understood that because their jobs were in jeopardy, and she did not want anyone to lose their job over ignorance, I would say!!!! A really good person. I guess this place would be good if you were just passing through couple days maybe even a month but if you stay longer or rub Miss Green who is the general manager ! the wrong way you’ll be in the same position I see.! I on behalf of 1st 2nd and 3rd floor as well as the staff….. who can not come forward because they are all in fear of their jobs which would have an impact on their lives of of course, with no income…. They have expressed their concerns as well to others, who also reside here, explaining all of this to them and it’s just so heartbreaking and horrible and disgusting!! It shouldn’t be this way it shouldn’t and I think someone from above needs to come down and take control of this place for this woman is going to wind up running this place straight into the ground!!! (!! Miss Green is using someone’s business for personal vendetta) and that is not OK!!! Thank you on behalf of everyone all the guests first second third floor as well as staff !! We are all working on a petition.. to have her stopped for violation of many rights.. to...

Do not stay at this establishment! Recently, my father in law booked this Extended Stay for a 2-week stay. The pictures and description online, make this hotel look like an average, well maintained hotel. We checked in, came off the elevator and immediately saw two men squatting on the floor next to an outlet to charge their phones. My first thought was, why are they charging their phones in the elevator lobby, if they are guests here... We continued and walked down the hallway which stunk of cigarette smoke and marijuana. Upon entering the room, we were shocked at the condition of the room. The kitchenette looked to be about 25 years old. The counter tops were stained, the cabinets were pealing. The refrigerator was stained and dirty inside. The cabinets were completely empty, not a pot, pan, or cup to be found inside the dusty cabinets. The bathroom was old and dirty. All of the vents had an immense amount of dust built up in them, as though they have never been cleaned. The entire room was completely dilapidated! My father in law decided to stay and try to "stick it out." He tried to connect to the internet which kept disconnecting. He figured he needed to upgrade to the "better" internet package they offer for $40. That didn't help at all. He called the front desk to ask for help with the internet and was instructed to call a 1-800 number for assistance. He did so and the representative was not helpful at all. $40 dollars down the drain. Any time you leave the room, there are people congregating in the halls, discussing drug transactions. You overhear domestic disputes and more. I am utterly floored in disgust at how this Extended Stay of America hotel is. I really wish we would have read all the negative reviews before booking. In reading the negative reviews, I noticed the owner responds to each review claiming to "investigate" the issues so it doesn't happen again. Well, I can tell you they definitely aren't doing anything about any of the issues, as these reviews and claims to resolve date back years... Whatever you do, do not book this Extended Stay of America hotel. You will regret it. I am sad to say,I will never try another Extended Stay of America hotel, after the awful experience at the Woodbridge, New...

This is the most unprofessional establishment I have ever stayed at. I had to go downstairs to request pots and pans, which this is the first Extended Stay that didn't already have them in the room. While I'm down there I get hit on by the guy at the front counter, which was extremely awkward for me and extremely unprofessional for many obvious reasons.. Once I told him what kitchenette supplies I needed and made it clear I wasn't interested he told me that someone would be bringing the pots and pans up to my room with a smile on his face. Everything seemed fine. Almost an hour goes by and I call the front desk in which the girl answers and tells me he's still getting things together and says something very close to "if no one brings the pots and pans up I will bring them myself." That didn't happen either. When I called the front desk again about 15 minutes later the guy answered and told me that I would have to come back downstairs to get my stuff. When I went downstairs to the front desk, Justin wasn't there so I asked the girl what happened, while kind of laughing about it (because it was awkward again and I was confused with what's going on at this place) but all she said was something to the effect of "I guess he didn't want to bring them up." Which that is not what we had just discussed not even 15 minutes prior. So I grabbed my stuff and for that reason I tried to avoid going to the front desk for the remainder of my stay. This kind of behavior has never happened at any hotel I've ever stayed at and I'm constantly on the road because of my job. This is completely unacceptable and honestly it's bad enough to where upper management should probably check this place out more thoroughly. |On top of all that the first person I see while I'm waiting to be checked in is a guy pushing a mop bucket by the lobby blasting some kind of rock/rap music out loud on his phone as if people with families want to hear that. Just wow, this place needs to do better. |I will say that housekeeping is good here but I'm assuming they may be understaffed due to only getting one visit from them during a...
