JJ’s Pizzeria — Restaurant in Woodbridge Township

We have ordered from here about 8 times since they have opened. The food has been awesome every time so far. The issue that we have encountered more than one time is they do not answer the phone to place and order.

So today 6/5/24 I called 25 times (literally - see picture) and no answer. So give them the benefit of the doubt figure maybe there is issues with the phone lines. I drive there since it’s only like 7 minutes from the house. I get there and go in and go to place my order. All the staff are in the dining area taking pictures. The only staff behind the counter don’t understand what I am trying to order due to a language barrier. The guy calls the females that work the counter to come take the order. They continue to take pictures and not worry about the customers at the counter. He calls them again and this time she waves him off. Sorry but that made my blood boil and I walked out. Took 15 minutes of calling to finally have someone answer the phone and that should have my first indication that this was going to be a horrible experience. I ordered a pie light on the sauce and an order of mozzarella cheese fries at 5:14 and food was delivered at 6:49 so over 1.5 hours!! What i received was over sauced pizza and the most disgusting dry fries with the wrong cheese. When I called back, the person I spoke with said the best they could do was send over another pie. . . Umm, no thanks! I drove the food back to the restaurant where they gave me a refund after ignoring me for at least 5 minutes. The pizza here is not good. The worst I’ve had in a long . The doe is chewy, pizza is undercooked. The sauce has no flavor. The cheese on the pizza is cheap quality. You have to use grande mozzarella. The chicken cutlet on the pizza was not frozen. Give them credit for that. I did not feel well after eating the slice, that chewy doe. They have Mexican food now. Is this a pizzeria or a Mexican restaurant? Since the pizza is not good, just turn the place into a Mexican restaurant would probably be much busier. That’s if the Mexican food is even good.
