Deer Park Resort — Hotel in Woodstock

I rented a three bedroom condo that faced the river. Beautiful log cabin feel fireplace each bedroom had a bathroom sleeps 10. This place is fabulous. The Mountain View is absolutely spectacular. . The pretty lake has the reflection of the mountains in the background. The lake is clear and clean. The kids fished on the other side where there’s no swimming. There’s a nice deck where you can barbecue right on the lake lots of lounge chairs there or you can sit right on the beach side in the sand. There’s outdoor fire pit. There’s a big recreational building that has the indoor pool in Jacuzzi. Upstairs, they have a two sided fireplace with great views again of the whole lake.. a game room upstairs board games or rocket ball a pool table, air hockey ping-pong. When you’re a little bored of your residence, you may go to this building and actually cook. They have a large kitchen. ! We cooked the family dinner there and lounge around this huge space and the kids played all of the games. The only downside would be they want you to only enter the building in the front . My mom is handicap so that wasn’t really feasible.. there’s doors around the whole building. They want you to be able to show your bracelet that you have to enter that building with that you are renting at Deer Park If you walk along the trails with the river is, you can get to an area called the Cascades ! Lots of kids bring their tubes down there Claire running rocky water....

I do not recommend this place! The receipts are very rude and I did not even had the chance to stay there. I book my reservation 5 days prior to my checking. I was never told about their 14 days not money back cancellation policy prior to my checking. I was going to take my family to see the Ice Castle. I leave 3 hour away driving. There was a big snow storm coming on the day I was supposed to checking. So, I called them the day before to try to move my reservation for the following weekend because of the storm. The receipt that answer me did not want to move the date!!! He said he was gonna give me the refund. Since he was very rude to me on the phone I said OK. I call them back after 2 weeks has gone by to see why the refund did not go through. The receptionist did not wanna help me with my refund and she yelled at me and said she was not gonna give my refund. I had to dispute the charges with the credit card company. I was not given the chance to change my reservation, or have a credit to use another time and never mind a refund. How...

Great place for vacation. Family friendly. Something for everyone; pristine lake for swimming, indoor pool and recreation center with a fitness center, very well maintained property, awesome condos from studio to 4 bedroom. Located at the start of the Kancamagus Highway which offers swimming in the river and a multitude of hiking opportunities for people of all levels of ability across a 30 mile road. Spectacular views fro several scenic vistas. Very close to beautiful natural wonders like the Flume, Polar Caves, the gondolas at Loon Mountain, and Lost River. Also close to a water park and numerous restaurants and shopping.
