Our experience at this shop was not only disappointing — it was dangerous. We clearly told the staff that our son has a serious egg allergy and asked which flavors were safe. Despite this, he was served ice cream that contained egg. He ate it, trusting their guidance, and had a frightening allergic reaction.

In the midst of this scary situation, we had to administer his EpiPen. We later contacted the owner, Rebecca, to request reimbursement for the EpiPen — a very reasonable ask, and it was only $10, given that the allergic reaction was caused by the shop’s negligence. She has since ignored all of our attempts to follow up and has offered no apology, accountability, or support.

This is not just about poor service — it’s about safety, responsibility, and basic human decency. Mistakes like this can cost lives, and the lack of response from ownership only makes matters worse.

Allergy protocols are not optional. Serving someone food that contains an allergen after being warned is a failure of responsibility and training. The complete lack of accountability from ownership has only made this worse. We will never return, and if you or a loved one has food allergies, I strongly urge you to think twice before...

The older gentleman behind the counter with the glasses had some sort of attitude problem when I asked what kind of sprinkles they had. They also didn't have a twist soft serve option available even though advertised on a banner. The gentleman waiting on us said something about New England not carrying twist or chocolate or something incoherent when it comes to soft serve. Not really sure what that comment was actually about. I wouldn't go here again with the customer service...

We stopped into this adorable dog-themed ice cream shop in North Woodstock and had such a great experience! The staff were so friendly and welcoming, and they went out of their way to help us while trying to decide what to order.
