Stopped in while visiting from Delaware to check out the York brewery scene. The place has a really cool layout. The is outdoor seating with sand, kind of going for a beach scene effect. Inside is a lot of brick and wood which fits with the area. The person behind the bar was very friendly and willing to make recommendations. The beer was average overall but the burger and fries were very good. If you are looking for a cool place to hang with friends then give this place a look.

A beautiful old building attached to York’s Central Farmer’s Market on Cherry Lane. The perfect day for alfresco dining this early evening. If you are a beer aficionado, this is your place. , I prefer a light, sweet cocktail. The Orange Creamsicle has the right amount of sweetness. The Fish Hook sandwich on a brioche bun -is delicious. Maddiee provided excellent service with the right amount of check-ins

Went Friday nite and the foul mouth, not funny comedian was so loud I couldn't hear or talk to the server, we ordered a flight and the beer I really wanted was out. Flights came out a little over half full and the bar tender said the boss only wants it that way. Couldn't get table service so went to the bar. Management was there but maybe clueless? Never again with all the choices in the area.

We've passed this restaurant multiple times when we go into the city on First Friday, and decided to give it a try last night. Firstly, they had a guest musician when we arrived, but all he was doing was tuning his instruments, and playing small snippets of.popular songs which was just annoying and not entertaining in the slightest, especially since we were seated right in front of him so his tuning and "playing" would be very loud so we could talk to one another.

We tried the soup of the day which was a tilapia based soup, and it was easily the most foul, despicable "food" any of us has tasted. It was as if someone took canned fish, leftover vegetables, and heaping tablespoons of salt and mixed it together. The chicken tenders were beer battered, but they should have said they were beer tenders because that's all you could taste. The poutine was okay, except it needed more gravy and cheese as it was mostly just regular French fries with a little bit of topping. One of our meals didn't come out with the rest of them, and only came out AFTER everyone else had finished their meals. Turned out they messed up the order, but instead of notifying us ahead of time, they told us after the fact. And when they brought it out, they forgot the French fries.

Also, they don't do flights on First Friday, which makes no sense since you're a brewing company and First Friday is arguably one of the best times to promote your business and...

We had 7 of us for dinner. I get it, it’s hard to seat 7 people comfortably and together... but the place was completely empty. We were hoping to sit outside, we were told it was reserved. Did anyone show up by the end of our meal?? You guessed it, nope.

And then, we pulled up a stool at the end of the 6 seater and they didn’t let us. It felt like being disciplined in 5th grade.

Then, ordering drinks time. Asked the waitress what types of bourbons they have. She had no idea (she’s new, I get it.) looks through the menu for the 1 type they have. We order that. She comes back “we are out of that.” If you have 1 option in a type of alcohol, is it that hard to have enough?

Ordering food time. Orders went well. Thought it would be a better ending to an awkward start. Food comes out. 4 out of 7 dishes are wrong. How is that possible?

Also- side note for the weird dude collecting menus... RELAX. the whole table wasn’t even finished ordering and he’s collecting menus 1 by 1 from those that ordered. As if they were running out of menus up front? Not sure what that was about but relax dude. The waitress can take the menus at one time. I understand reading this might sound like a weird thing to bring up, but the dude was like hovering over the table uncomfortably.

Disappointed to say the least.

Summary: Food - B Drinks- C Service - D Rules...

The only reason I gave this place two stars was because the staff was very attentive and the atmosphere was pretty nice. The location makes it quaint. However the food was marginal pub food and lacked anything that sets it apart from any other bar in the area. Take away the fact that its a brewery and the "nitch" right now and this place would sink from the lack luster menu. As for the Beer selection it was ok. They were all quite flat in flavor notes. As for distinguishing themselves from others I'd have to say any of the tap houses or gastro-pubs in the local 3 counties this one is towards the bottom of the list. I wasn't completely disappointed but I shouldn't have went in with expectations from others reviews. I normally don't write a review but tonight I...
