The prices would suggest a five star property, but in reality, this is average at best. The lack of service is really glaring. There was no one to greet us upon arrival (no bellman outside or at the door), we loaded up our own luggage cart. Someone did show up eventually and help us get to our rooms. ||We had 5 rooms, one was not ready until almost 5pm. My room had not one accessible outlet - no plugs on the nightstands or anywhere near the bed for charging phones. Fridge did not cool anything. Other rooms we saw had plantation shutters on their patio doors, we had thin fabric shades that looked like they were from the dollar store that did not block anything. If you are assigned room 603, immediately say no and ask for a different room. Our front door looked out onto the dumpsters, construction, and what appeared to be an employee parking lot, judging from the staff sitting in their cars outside of our room. Our patio doors opened up onto the fireplace area off the lobby, so there was a constant stream of traffic and noise. We could not open our doors at all. |We did ask to change rooms, but were told that would not be possible until two nights into our stay and then not until the evening. ||Two of the rooms in our group had been renovated and were much nicer. ||The front desk needs some help - literally. The many times my husband attempted to call were met with frustration. The woman (who I won’t name) repeatedly called me the wrong name and seemed annoyed that I corrected her. ||The outdoor fireplace area was not cleaned up until later each day from the night before, so it was constantly littered with glassware. ||The spa lost my reservation, despite the fact that I made it 2 months prior. Maritsa at the spa was incredibly helpful and apologetic. She was the BEST employee I encountered at this entire hotel. Thank you again Maritsa for fixing the mistake of your coworker (who I won’t name). ||Chris the bartender was excellent. Housekeeping also did a great job as our room was always sparkling. ||Don’t waste your money here. Stay across the street at the Hotel Villagio where they have their...
Read moreThis is a beautiful hotel and a great place to stay if you are wanting to visit Napa / Yountville. I do think it is overpriced for what I paid however going during summer break was likely a big factor in the pricing so not a big complaint. The pool facilities were very nice, the loungers were very comfy and the area was well attended by staff who were all extremely pleasant and always smiling. The only downside to the pool area were the beds which had 4 posts but no actual wall area to lean on. This meant that your only option was to lie down which I thought was a bit strange. The rooms were brilliant and in pristine condition, the beds were comfy and the shower was nice and large. ||The hotel is in a great location, it is within walking distance to all the main restaurants and centre of Yountville however they do also offer a complimentary shuttle service should you wish. While overall it was an amazing hotel, there was a part of it which irritated me. This was the fact that included in your resort fee was a $50 credit for food & drink but this was not mentioned to us at all during check-in and we only found out after reading it on the website. Regardless, the hotel was brilliant and should we return to the wonderful town of Yountville we would be more than happy...
Read moreI stayed here last weekend, and unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant due to a serious safety oversight. During our stay, I sustained a severe second-degree burn on my back from a fireplace that appeared to be off with no fire running but was actually on, despite it being the middle of summer. There was a seating ledge right next to the fireplace, yet no warning or signage to indicate that the fireplace was on or could be a potential hazard. When we brought this issue to the attention of the front office and provided them with photos of the injury, their response was disappointing. They offered us some band-aids, but showed little concern for how this incident affected our trip. As a result, we were unable to spend the day by the pool or visit the spa as we had planned, and had to completely rework our day. This experience was not only painful but also a major inconvenience that could have easily been avoided with proper signage or a simple safety warning. It's a significant oversight that needs to be addressed to prevent future guests from experiencing something similar. Wasn't going to leave a review but as the burn worsens I feel as if I need...
