Lakeside Grill @ Vintners Golf Club — Restaurant in Yountville

After playing a round of golf, we opted to try the grill for a cocktail and burger. Well, it wasn't that busy, but there was no bartender or server to take our order after standing at the bar for 15 or 20 minutes we left. The food that was served looked nicely prepared. Can't tell you how it tastes, unfortunately. The kitchen staff was busy serving but didn't understand the 2 young ladies doing basically Nothing but pacing the floor. I would like to write a review for the Lakeside Grill @ Vintners Golf Club. I called Tuesday and explained I planned on bringing my mother there for "Mother's Day" on Friday, May 11. Did I need reservations, I asked -- no, I should be fine. Can we sit on the patio if it's not too cold -- certainly, it should be beautiful and not too busy.

I drive up from the south bay (2 hours) to find that the Grill is closed on 5/11 due to a special event (wedding).

Have eaten here before. It's ok. Nice pleasant environment and golf course view. But.... Probably to do with covid, had reservations showed up to find restaurant closed. Bar still open. No apologies or explanation just restruant not open. Lots of employees standing around. Discovered later tried to leave phone number upon making reservation and they didn't want it. Hopefully it's just a hiccup and not part of...
