DO NOT STAY HERE! Right off of Interstate 5 is the Only good thing we experienced. At arrival there was what seemed to be a 'friend' of the front desk person. His demeanor created a questionable atmosphere. At the room, there were numerous issues but it was supposedly the last one so none of our concerns were addressed. Here is the list of concerns, most have a photo to go with them: Lock on door was busted, so we propped a chair against it. Light bulbs out Bath floor dirty, toilet was left up (I guess so we could see that it was not cleaned well), tub and shower not clean with bad mold (and hair all over) - we had Clorex wipes to clean the bathroom with. The counter with second sink was 'gritty' and clearly had not been cleaned. Patio slider was filthy. The "Creekside" view was of a construction cone, and I-5. The patio had a small table, but no chairs - so much for coffee by the construction cone. The 'complimentary' breakfast was a mess and did not seem safe to eat. They ran out of bowls and there was no toaster - so the safest options (cereal and toast) were taken away as choices. The "hot" food was left uncovered and it was not proba le to be kept at a safe temperature. The employees left the containers open after adding some thin, limp bacon. The strawberries seemed to have been fresh from last year, and the blueberries seemed to be from the same order. Luckily they restocked the prepackaged granola bars - so we took one of those for the road and made plans to stop for an early lunch. The pancake conveyor belt was very popular and could not keep up with the demand. At checkout we tried to explain the concerns, and it was CLEAR there was no interest in listening to us. I let them know I would let them read about it on my Google review. No care at all. Sketchy friends hanging out, busted and disgusting room, lies about the view, unsafe food handling, and careless attitudes - this is a place to avoid at any cost!

If we could give a 0/10 we would. This was our worst Best Western experience ever. Go book at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites instead. The property manager/staff member when we checked in had a child sitting at the front desk colouring. Very unprofessional. The rooms here are not worth what is charged. The first room we were checked into was filthy. Dirty floors and dishes. Vomit on the carpet. There were bugs on the bedding. The phones didn't work and the lights didn't work in one room. We had to run back over to the front desk to complain about the state of the room. Before arriving we confirmed that a crib would be set up and in the room for arrival. It was not. Upon running back to the front desk again we were then informed that they did not have one. That it was broken. You would think the hotel would go and purchase a packnplay or mini crib knowing they had guests booked who needed one. No refund was offered by the front desk employee. We were told they couldn't. We learnt later this is a lie and they could have and should have them and there since they are who charged our credit card, not Expedia. We were offered a smaller room but at no discount or reimbursement for the downgrade. We went to check it out and it smelt of cigarettes and vomit as soon as we opened the door. This was an instant no. We ended up back at the first room because it was late and we're just needed sleep. We did contact Expedia to try and get help dealing with this sadly they couldn't get anything sorted either. The front desk person lied about offering us new bedding and about offering another second different room. We have stayed at several Best Western locations. This place is not up to the usual standards. It's horrible. Best Western still has not contacted us back about our complaints despite phoning and emailing. Do not stay here! There are too many health and safety issues.

The room was really spacious and clean. Our check-in was fine and it was our 2nd stay within 5 weeks. Definitely loved the outside pool to cool off after a long day of driving. The breakfast on the next morning was disappointing. Everything was empty: eggs, bacon, coffee and took a good 10 min to be refilled. Several guests before us were carrying out 2-3 boxes each which might explain why others now had to wait so long. Guests were piling up in no order and once refills came there was a bit of a storm on the food. Meanwhile I noticed how messy the food area was. Like in other Best Western properties on our trip one person seemed to have to do it all: front desk, food refills, coffee refills, cleaning.... Certainly we didn't blame this person for such disorganized experience. Thankfully, breakfast was just a small portion of our overall experience. The rooms were clean, the towels very soft and the balcony was a great surprise too. One small side note: check the flushing handle in #212, it is very loose and flimsy. All equipment worked well. The room came with mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, hairdryer and iron. The room also had ample seating inside and outside.

We got a suit with multiple rooms for multiple nights. It wasn’t cheap! My biggest concern was Marcella, the employee there who handles the breakfast in the morning. She was unbelievably rude to my kids EVERY MORNING, telling them they couldn’t eat certain foods literally stopping them in their tracks and telling them no they can’t eat that. Which of course that’s when I stand up and say that’s bull crap, and grab the food for my kids so they can eat. Not only that but she would strait stare us down, the entire time she would come stand right next to us and stare at every move we made including myself. When a child of mine would be using the bathroom at The breakfast place, after about 3 min of being in There, SHE WOULD STRAIT MARCH UP, GRAB THE HANDLE, FEEL THE DOOR IS LOCKED, THEN KNOCK ON THE DOOR LOUDLY AND WALK AWAY. Causing my kids to rush their business then inevitably we would have to pull over just down the road and find a bathroom to let them finish on our journey. The receptionists (which they were always nice and polite we appreciate that) would scoot a breakfast table together so us parents and children could sit together, Marcella would come over and scoot the table back! This made our morning very uncomfortable every single day staying at the best western minors in. Something else that bothered us was our room would not be tended to unless we went to the front desk and requested it. We would leave the tag on the door request room be made up, get back to the room and nothing. Trash cans not emptied, floor not swept, no new towels, then when we would request service we would leave a tip, and lucky us Marcella was the one making up our rooms. She would take the tip but not replenish the paper/plastic cups, or other amenities that would need replenishing. The toilet clogged, bathroom fan was broken, doors would not close, lamp not working (room 229) pool closed, homeless around parking lot, and I just wish when we are paying a thousand dollars to stay at a place, that breakfast lady wouldn’t make our days off to such a rough start. Thank you to the rest of the staff...
