Istat Boutique Hotel — Hotel in Bukhara City

We booked a large double room for three nights. Given it is brand new, finding this hotel for taxi drivers seems to be an endeavor. It is true that the town offers an amazing amount of accommodations: hotels, boutique hotel and hostels are virtually everywhere. Istat’s location is very near to the Lyabi Khause Square, although a bit hidden in a neighborhood (near Amelia Hotel and Al Bukhari Hotel) which is undergoing quite a few constructions for, most probably, additional hotels. Upon arrival we were assigned room 304 on the first floor. The hotel offers accommodations on three levels: in the basement (where breakfast is served), on the ground floor and on the first floor. There is no elevator in the hotel. The property is built around a picturesque internal courtyard. Our room was quite large, air conditioned, nicely architected with precious wood carving, Turkish style mosaic lamps, sandstone walls in the bathroom which featured a telephone and a rain shower sets. The accommodation was clean and comfortable with minimal furniture consisting in a very large bed, two bedside tables, a wardrobe closet, a small fridge, a table and a chair. Complimentary water and tea was available in the room. The breakfast consists in a small but tasty selection of fruits, eggs, sausages, vegetables, pastry, yoghurt, juices, tea and coffee and is served between 08:00 and 10:00. Daily room cleaning has to be explicitly requested at the reception. All staff was kind but not everyone spoke english fluently. All in all a very positive experience. While in town we had dinner in Art Restaurant (near B. Naqshband 78) Minzifa (on Hoja Rushnogi 6) and Joy (on Sarafon 2) all within 5-10 min walk...

We stayed with another couple in two large double rooms for three nights. We enjoyed the location of the hotel close to the Old City center, just a 5-10 minute walk from the central Lyabi-i-Hauz. The service has potential but needs some improvement. The young man at the front desk tried his best, but the rooms were not cleaned during our three day stay, and there were some initial issues with getting the refrigerator to work when we were not in the room. The rooms were comfortable and spacious, though not optimally arranged (our room was missing a sofa). Breakfast was ready at 8 sharp, however if one was late the breakfast would become cold. Бронировали номер на агоде. Приехали к 14 часам, номер не был готов, потому что предыдущие гости попросили поздний выезд и им его предоставили. Обычно поздний выезд предоставляют, если в этот день больше нет гостей или у следующих гостей уточняют время прибытия, чтобы успеть приготовить номер. Но видимо тут понадеялись на авось. В результате после поезда мы не отдыхали в номере, а сидели на ресепшн и ждали, когда уберут в номере. Сам номер очень новый, свежий и чистый, еще пахнет ремонтом, полностью соответствует фото. Просторная ванная комната с душем и ванной. Белоснежные полотенца и постельное белье, в наличии все гигиенические принадлежности. Окна выходят во внутренний дворик, но шторы полностью не закрывают окно. Во внутреннем дворике стоит столик со стульями, где вечером и ночью собираются компании, которых мало заботит сон других гостей. Это реальная проблема, каждый звук эхом разносится как в колодце, а владельцы отеля никак не следят за соблюдением тишины. Не способствуют крепкому сну и полупрозрачные шторы, очень скрипучая кровать. Вечером в отеле заполняют бак с водой. Приходишь в отель после целого дня на жаре, а воды нет. Логично ночью заполнять бак, когда гости спят, но видимо владельцам важнее выспаться самим. Хотели принять душ и лечь спать, нам сказали, что через час вода будет. Прождали час, два, безрезультатно. Легли спать поздно и без душа. А в номере есть еще и ванна, вопрос зачем? Завтрак начинается в 8 часов, для такого жаркого климата это очень поздно. Ладно, пришли в 8. А там нет ни людей, ни еды, ни приборов. Где то через пол часа начали появляться нарезки сыра и колбасы. К 9 появились горячие блюда (яичница и сосиски). На следующий день выселялись рано утром, нам обещали ланч-бокс. Естественно, забыли. Уборки в номере не было, воду не пополняли Интерьер и расположение на отлично. Комфорт и...
