First of all, this place is absolutely not a hotel. It's a guest house!! They must edit the name. One day before our trip they sent us msg trough booking and asked when we'll arrive. I answered them and we arrived hotel half an hour before I said. There was a closed woman in the reception incredible negative which we never met in any place before. First she said, Go look at rooms if u like I'll make registration. Rooms are like in photos, in old and bad situation. But we accepted. She asked we took give our passports and she took few photo of our passports with mentioning that " Many tourists are breaking rules in our country that's why I must take photo of your passports, if something goes wrong policemen will find you" It was the weird, really weird. We gave our passports, she took few photos. Then I wanted to pay and gave my credit card, she pushed the card back and said " We don't accept card, only cash. it was written on booking." However.. In the evening we wanted to pay by cash with Uzbek Sum. She again with very negative face refused and said us " Payment only with dollar! Became we're paying percent to Booking!" I said what? Are u kidding with us?? In your country you accepting payment with dollar?? She said yes! Then I couldn't stop myself and said her " You're being very rude, what's the reason??" She answered us" I'm working like Terminator everyday maybe because of that and I don't know your language well ( which is a huge lie, she was speaking fluent Russian" The worst receptionist ever I met in my life. And about hotel.. It's not a hotel it's a family house. All around written rules. Bring plate, don't use this, don't smoke. Breakfast is not enough at all. When they start to prepare breakfast, smell filling all the rooms. And last day there was no hot water. They put dirty towel in rooms. Remote was that old buttons weren't working good. At last day there was a boy at the reception before we leave he said " Wait here, I need to control the room then you can leave " I've been in many different country, many different hotel I never saw that bad attitudes. I absolutely don't recommend this...

From the moment we arrived, our stay at this guest house was nothing short of wonderful. The room was clean, spacious, and incredibly comfortable, making it a perfect place to unwind after a long journey. On the first day, the weather was quite warm, and we appreciated the well-functioning air conditioning that kept the room cool and relaxing.
To our surprise, the next day brought a complete change in weather—it started raining and became quite chilly, dropping to nearly 8 degrees Celsius. Thankfully, the heating system in the room worked perfectly, keeping us warm and cozy. This kind of comfort and readiness for all types of weather is something we truly value when traveling.
One of the biggest highlights of our stay was the lovely family who runs the property. They were incredibly humble, kind, and welcoming, treating us more like guests in their home than customers. The husband was very helpful, always ready to assist with anything we needed, and his wife at the reception always greeted us with a warm, genuine smile, which made every interaction pleasant. Their hospitality really made us feel like we were part of the local culture and not just tourists passing through.
The location of the guest house couldn’t have been better—right in the heart of all the major tourist attractions, making it easy to explore and enjoy the surroundings without any hassle.
And we can’t forget to mention the breakfast—it was absolutely delicious, fresh, and a perfect start to the day.
Overall, this was an exceptional experience filled with comfort, warmth, and genuine hospitality. We would absolutely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. It truly felt like a home...
Read moreA nice home stay in a very convenient location. Its located in walking distance to Registan square and most other attractions. Easily accessible by taxi, otherwise. The hosts are kind and helpful, they readily helped us to change our room once we said it was too small for 2 adults and 2 kids. The breakfast needs to improve. Rooms are comfortable , with all amenities like TV, kettle, hot air in AC ( it was -6 when we went). The only issue was , we had asked for an airport transfer when we landed and the lady charged us 15 $ which was extremely expensive as compared to just 15,500som (1.5$) which is the usual rate. While I understand the usual touristy things, felt the lady cheated us by not telling us she was coming herself & charging also extra for 3 adults, when she was basically bringing...
