We ordered from pictures in the menu and they still brought the wrong food. When we refused the food the only English speaking waiter claimed the waiter didn’t understand my English, which consisted in pointing at pictures. The food from the picture arrived and it was nothing like advertised. Wrong use of products. Questioned again the waiter turned agressive and said that this is how it was in Uzbekistan. Lamb chops were pieces of lamb, salad consisted of 4-5 pieces of badly fried eggplants, lots of parsley and a half a tea spoon of some sort of cream cheese for which they charged 40k Uzbek som. For reference 3 pieces of barbecue lamb chomp anywhere else costs 30k without service. We didn’t touch our food and paid. They charged for food and 10% horrible service eventhough menu claimed that if you don’t like the food you don’t pay. We can’t say we didn’t like it since we never ate but the rudeness of the waiter was not something we...
Read moreThe restaurant has a nice location and a lovely outdoor seating area, which creates a pleasant first impression. Unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to the setting. We were the first guests of the day, yet more than half of the shashlik options were already unavailable. The ones we did manage to order seemed carelessly prepared, lacking both flavor and proper grilling.
We also ordered two salads, which turned out to be completely inedible. Most of the iceberg lettuce was brown and wilted, making the dishes look unappetizing and taste even worse. It was clear that the ingredients were not fresh, which is disappointing for a place that otherwise seems inviting.
Despite the good location and comfortable atmosphere, the food quality was far below expectations. With better attention to freshness and preparation, this restaurant could have real potential. Until then, it’s hard to recommend it based on...
Read moreThe food was good, but we had a small hiccup. My friend and I ordered only one bottle of beer. I’m very sure, because I don’t drink. When the waiter brought two bottles, we told him it was a mistake, and he took the extra one back. However, not until we received the bill did the waiter tell us he couldn’t cancel the second bottle. He kept saying he would have to pay for it himself if we didn’t. He tried to pressure us into paying for their mistake. I think the ordering process needs improvement. After all, we never intended for the waiter to have to cover the cost. We just wanted the order corrected in the first place. Perhaps waiters should be allowed to cancel or...
