ZARQAND RESTAURANT — Restaurant in Samarkand City

We stopped here for a quick lunch during our time in Samarkand. We ordered shashlik and bread. The shashlik was tasty and well cooked and the bread was warm and fluffy. The price of shashlik is about average for Samarkand.

Unfortunately I have given 3 stars for 2 reasons. 1) We were told that there was no large bottle of sparkling water and so we opted for 2 small bottles. These were remarkably pricey (15000 som each) and on our way out we in fact spotted a large bottle in the fridge. This leads me to believe that the waiter either didn't know what was available or he deliberately upsold us. Either way it is disappointing. 2) This establishment does not appear to have its own toilet. I was directed by staff to a door around the corner and was immediately asked for money by an older lady who held the key. I explained I was from the restaurant but she insisted I pay. As I didn't not have any cash on me at the time (I was not expecting to have to pay to use a toilet in a restaurant) I could not use the toilet and she immediately started yelling at me.

The food here is decent but unfortunately because of the above reasons I would not return. To management I would suggest installing a toilet...

Had an amazing meal at Zarqand Restaurant in Samarkand, just about a 10–12 minute walk from Registan Square. Their famous Jiz-biz (beef) is a must-try! The beef was cooked to perfection – tender, flavorful, and served on a wooden platter with fries, fresh tomatoes, cucumbers, and lemon slices.

The portion was generous, and the presentation made it even more appetizing. It paired perfectly with their fresh bread and salads. Cozy atmosphere, good service, and very close to one of Samarkand’s main attractions – it’s a perfect stop after exploring Registan.

Servis hızlı ve başarılı.

Türkiye'de evde ve dışarıda koyun eti pek almam, yemem. Et vitrinde tek tek etleri inceledim. Biri hariç hepsi koyun eti.

Akşam yemeği için zamanda geçiyor, başka çare yok 4 kuzu şiş ve salata siparişi verdim. Şişlerin tanesi 30.000 Som. Salata 30.000 Som, serbest lokal bira 40.000 Som ve yarım Semerkant Ekmeği 6.000 Som. Üzerine 4 fincanın siyah çay 15.000 Som. Ayrıca bu işletme %15 hizmet ücreti alıyor. Toplam 242.650 Som ödedim. Koyun eti lezzetli ve güzel pismisti. Her şiste 1 tane kemikli Et vardı.

Restaurant ya yeni yapılmakta olan bir inşaatta ya da restore ediliyor.

Tuvalette seyyar ışık ile aydınlatma var. Maalesef iç tuvalet kapıları henüz takılmamış. Keşke tüm inşaat bittikten sonra açılsaydı Restaurant.

Ayrıca işletmeye bir tavsiyem giriş kapısı önündeki ızgara mangal görüntüsü ve çevresinin görüntüsü hiç hoş değil.

Bu ucuz, kalitesiz eski tip Restaurantların işi. Bu görüntüden vazgeçin, tavsiyem bu.
