We stayed here for three nights in April. Staff are reasonably friendly, the breakfast is decent, the rooms are nice (albeit small), and the shower is nice and big, with good water pressure. No hair conditioner provided, but you can get that from the front desk. There are balconies, but the windows/doors don't open, so you can't go enjoy them - very odd. Beds were comfortable. ||Our sole complaint was incompetence on the part of the reception. We had a snafu as we had two consecutive nights there, on two different bookings. Upon check-in, we flagged this to the front desk, and the staff member said no problem, we could stay in the same room for two nights. All was set. But the next day, the front desk phoned repeatedly (while I was out and my wife was trying to sleep - after a long night of travel), demanding that we come pay some hotel tax for the second night. She told them I would do so when I was back, as I had our credit cards and cash with me. Then the housekeeping banged on the door wanting to clean the room - even though we had the Do Not Disturb sign up! How dare they bang on the door when that sign is up and guests are legitimately there! We were very annoyed by this, and I complained to the front desk when I returned. They were apologetic, but what's done is done. Their front desk staff need to make sure their attention to detail is up to scratch.||To top it off, two hours later, when my wife had finally fallen back asleep, the front desk AGAIN phoned us, to ask how our check-in had gone. This was nearly 24 hours after we had checked in. Again, the incompetence!||Anyway, mistakes happen, but beware if you're staying on separate bookings - make sure all in their system is clear and that you've paid your hotel tax for the whole stay, so they don't come hassling you like they did us.||That said, staff were always friendly in our dealings with them (except for the housekeeping). In particular, the lady who is the maitre d' at the breakfast is just wonderful, very kind and helpful.||Otherwise, our only complaint would be that the air conditioning was very poor. Even though we had it set to 18 degrees, it never went below 22.5. They need to...
