Ramiz — Restaurant in Tashkent

I went the restaurant which is located in Tashkent City. I was with the person that I will marry and today was the day that I was planning to do a proposal. I was told about food quality and I satisfied with my meal that I had. However, there is another side of the coin too. The service in this particular restaurant was not satisfactory. Just for ordering our drinks we had to wait for 15 minutes and finally I had to go to the reception and asked for taking my whole order. We went for an Ice Tea for our drinks which came with a fly. I wanted to argue with the manager but my partner stopped me. The waiter was not really sure about his position I believe. Outside there are two guys playing traditional music which is fantastic, the atmosphere and decor from outside are fantastic, the entrance is cozy and fantastic, BUT.......... then you enter into what's basically an over lit canteen setup full of children and people talking with no music or any kind of attempt to create a restaurant atmosphere. The food was good so no knocking that, but nothing special that you can't find elsewhere cheaper. Service is good and people are friendly. I feel though that the place seems to false advertise by having the guys outside playing the music, giving the impression it's going to be atmospheric inside. You even feel that when you first step inside, with a statue of Sultan Suleiman Khan, but as soon as you enter the actual eating area, it's like you've stepped into an all inclusive cheap package holiday...

Had some turkish kofte and chicken wings, omg chicken wings was the best wings that i have tried ever! You should definitely try their chicken mangal wings Also staff is polite, professional, and attentive Afterwards we had a delicious desserts also was good taste
