I encountered a few bumps during my stay and, as a Diamond member, I expected a smoother experience. I booked well in advance for a Junior Suite, hoping for a nice beach view, but upon arrival, the view was mostly of nearby buildings with only a partially visible beach. I was informed that all Junior Suites have this layout, which I found disappointing — it seems odd that one of the hotel’s higher-tier room categories doesn’t come with a premium view.
The room itself was spacious and comfortable, though not without issues. I had requested an adjoining room for my child, but was told none were available. However, just two days prior I received an email offering me an upgrade including adjoining rooms and a one bedroom suite. When I asked for an extra bed, I was told there would be an additional charge per night. Some hotels waive this, especially for a top tier member of their loyalty program. The biggest inconvenience, however, was the bathroom design — the shower area had no partition, causing water to splash across the entire floor each time it was used.
I had also booked two rooms — a Junior Suite and a Panoramic Ocean View Room — using Hilton Honors Advance Booking. Upon check-in, I was told that only two guests (from one room) were eligible for complimentary breakfast. I agreed to pay for breakfast for the other two guests, but was mistakenly charged 6.3M VND for four days instead of the correct 3.1M VND. The staff caught the error about 30 minutes later and corrected it, which I appreciated.
The breakfast experience itself could be improved. The buffet staff should do a better job of replenishing items and condiments. If breakfast is served until 10:30 a.m., guests arriving at 9:30 or later shouldn’t find half the options unavailable — fruits, cheeses, and some condiments at the noodle station often ran out and weren’t refilled promptly.
On a positive note, most of the staff were warm, polite, and helpful. The restaurant dinners were delicious and fairly priced — definitely a highlight of our stay. However, I felt that the concierge service could have been more proactive and insightful, particularly in suggesting things to do or places to eat during the rainy days when outdoor plans weren’t possible.
Overall, the stay was okay — not terrible by any means, but not exceptional either. With better attention to detail and a few operational improvements, it could easily be a much...

Our recent stay at Hilton Garden Inn Da Nang was nothing short of extraordinary, largely thanks to the exceptional team led by Ms. Duong Truong, Guest Operations Manager. From the moment we arrived, the warmth and professionalism of Ms. Duong and her dedicated team — Sang, No, and Hieu — truly made our experience special and memorable.
A heartfelt and urgent special mention must go to Ms. Duong Truong for her incredible care and quick thinking when our child suddenly felt unwell on the day of check-in. Her patience, compassion, and professionalism in assisting us to get immediate medical help were lifesaving and deeply appreciated. Throughout our entire stay, Ms. Duong was a pillar of support, always attentive and caring in a way that made us feel like family.
The hospitality did not end there. We thoroughly enjoyed the spectacular fireworks show from the rooftop terrace — an unforgettable highlight! The infinity pool was another favorite spot, especially for our child, who delighted in swimming while soaking in the breathtaking view of Da Nang beach.
Equally impressive was the restaurant service. Sang, No, and Hieu were consistently attentive, professional, and genuinely friendly. A special shoutout to Sang for the delightful Vietnamese coffee during one of our breakfasts — an authentic touch we truly savored! No’s cheerful demeanor and sincere interactions brightened every meal and correspondence, making us feel warmly welcomed. Hieu’s impeccable uniform, neat, combed hair, and courteous service reflected great pride and professionalism, adding to the overall wonderful experience.
We also want to acknowledge the excellent staff throughout the hotel — from the main lobby to the 5th and 27th Floor Together & Co. lounges — as well as the vigilant lifeguard whose attentiveness gave us peace of mind. This collective dedication to guest satisfaction is rare and commendable.
Without hesitation, we can say this was one of the best hotel stays we have ever had in Southeast Asia. The combination of outstanding service, stunning views, and heartfelt care made it truly unforgettable. We will miss everyone dearly and hope Hilton Garden Inn Da Nang continues to shine with the same fantastic team spirit and excellence.
Thank you all for making our...

After sharing my initial disappointment, I want to commend the Hilton Danang management for their excellent service recovery. They quickly addressed the issues we faced and went above and beyond by offering dinner and drinks at the rooftop bar, along with a complimentary night’s stay.
The hotel’s beautiful room and warm gestures made our stay more enjoyable, and thanks to the management’s efforts, we now feel more positive about our experience. As a result, I’m upgrading my review from 2* to 4, and I’m looking forward to giving them that 5 rating on my next visit.
That being said, I feel the breakfast could be improved greatly. It was the one area that didn’t meet expectations, and surprisingly, even compared to the Danang airport lounge, it felt less impressive than what I would expect from a hotel of this caliber.

As first-time visitors to Vietnam and Danang, we were eager for an amazing experience, especially from a renowned brand like Hilton. Unfortunately, our stay fell far short of expectations for a 4-star hotel.
Lack of Basic Service: On a Friday night, I was told there was no ice available after 9:30 pm and that I had to fetch my own from the 5th floor. When I asked what if I needed ice after 930 pm, I was redirected to the rooftop bar to get ice, which was only available until 11 pm. With no assistance to carry the ice bucket, I nearly dropped my belongings trying to manage everything myself.
Uncompromising Breakfast Policy: My partner went to breakfast while I rested in the room, feeling unwell. She asked if she could prepare a plate for me to bring up, as we both had breakfast included. The staff flatly refused and she did not press the matter accepting the so-called policy. However, when she wrapped just one pastry in a napkin to bring up, she was told she couldn’t do that either. It felt unreasonable and lacked basic hospitality, especially given the situation.
Nice Room, But Poor Service Overshadowed the Experience: The room itself was beautiful, and the hotel made a kind gesture with a small anniversary banner and cake upon check-in, which we appreciated. However, the service issues we encountered completely overshadowed these positives.
Overall, we expected much more from a Hilton property and were left disappointed by the lack of service and hospitality...
