Good location, very close to the beach (a 9-minute walk). Staff are very helpful and speak good English. 24/7 Reception and plenty of space to park your bike/bicycle. A mini-mart, breakfast (pho) and a mechanic are all on the doorstep. ||||Tip: you'll need a bike/bicycle to get to the restaurants and bars in Danang. The hotel is located in a quieter part of the city (which I liked but someone else might not). ||||The 1 thing that leaves room for improvement: Ventilation. The hotel needs a lot of it. There is just too much condensation and not enough windows and fresh air. That shouldn't be happening in a hotel right next to the beach. Some rooms smell of mould which could cause severe health issues. Definitely worth the investment of creating healthy ventilation on all floors, from the front to back of the building! ||||I would also opt to include, or at least offer breakfast. It's important to travelers to have the option and it's easy enough to set up for the staff. I spoke to a couple who didn't book with Loseby Hotel because of just that and...
Read moreI can't believe I took so long to write this review. Michael, Mai Lin, I am so sorry. I thought I had written it when I was in Da Nang. But somehow, it doesn't seem that it happened.||||Okay, first of all, this is a budget hotel. But if you want to be close to one of the nicest beaches in Vietnam (two blocks) for less than $20 a night, this is your place. Not only are the rooms very comfortable, but the owners, who are frequently there, can tell you anything you want to know about Da Nang.||||In fact Michael, one of the owners who happens to be from Holland, has a great website called Danangexperience.com Check it out.||||You can rent motorcycles right at the hotel. Go next door for noodle soup or coffee. Or walk a few doors down for a fabulous massage.||||I enjoyed my stay here as much as anyplace I visited in my travels in...
Read moreI had one of the rooms facing the street with a large window and small balcony just a few blocks from the northern beach area, with a nice view of the mountains. The room and double bed are large and comfortable, and the furnishings tasteful but not lavish, while the bathroom is basic. The neighborhood is undergoing transformation, with new hotels, villas and restaurants being constructed so in future you will not have to walk too far. A good western/English/continental breakfast can be found down the street at the Mai...
