I have been staying in this hostel for 3 days in Da Lat. I am very glad that I made the right choice. Its location is very convenient, within walking distance from crazy house, surrounded by various cafes and snack bars, and about 20 minutes' walk to the night market. The room is clean and tidy, and at this price, it also provides comfortable bedding. I don't think I can ask for anything more. I can sleep well without earplugs every night here. Having said so much, in fact, the most important thing is its service. The manager and his family are very helpful and make me feel warm. The manager can communicate smoothly in English. He knows everything about Da Lat and answered all my questions, such as helping me sign up for a day trip, recommending restaurants that only locals can go to, etc... I thought this It was over until I left this morning and received a new touch! Because I had to go to the airport, the manager’s parents were reluctant to let me take a few extra steps to the bus station. Two elderly people helped me, and uncle took me to the station on a motorbike…Dear uncle and aunts, I can't talk to you a lot because of language barriers. If you can read this comment, please accept my sincere thanks and wish you and your family...

Bed was not the most comfortable. No welcome on arrival around 2100 after flight delayed. |On a positive note, price was cheap (reasonable prices throughout Da Lat). The following morning a family member provided us with tea. ||The young gentlemen gave us some good recommendations on breakfast location and bars. He was not enthusiastic about local sightseeing locations and told us everything was ‘boring’- not very helpful. They booked our bus to Mui Ne with a company called Phu Travel. After looking at their TripAdvisor reviews (terrible) we really did not want to go with this company, he was adamant that the company was good and we were being made felt like we could not change our mind (likely to be getting commission and dismissed the company we wanted to book). The bus trip was horrific but not the fault of the hotel- just felt like they could have helped with our actual request instead of forcing on us the...
Read moreThe best place to stay in Dalat full stop. The family who own and run Gia Pham are above outstanding, the sons are friendly and really really helpful, their mum wants to supply you biscuits and oranges and the dad looks after your motorbike. It is really clean exceptionally clean and location is perfect near the river, 5 mins walk into town, 10 mins walk to the market and loads of cheap eateries nearby. 15mtrs from the hotel is a restaurant frequented by local young vietnamese, good food, cheap beer and lots of Hello's.||The hotel also offer free vietnamese coffee and tea, strong Wi-Fi and really comfortable firm beds, not the normal rock hard beds you find in Vietnam. A lot of care and attention is going into running Gia Pham and we loved...
