Nguyen Anh Hotel — Hotel in Da Lat City

For hotel, my utmost attention must be cleanliness then location and this hotel has them all. For the price of 15-20 USD per night, you cannot ask for more about the cleanliness of the hotel. Furniture might be a little old and outdated but it is not the problem. The owner is very friendly, although his English is not very good but always try to make his guests at most comfortable.||||The location is the best: opposite the famous Lien Hoa Bakery, walking distance to Da Lat market (3 min), next to Hoa Binh area, Ho Xuan Huong (4 min) and surround by many of local restaurants, coffee shops. We booked this hotel with not much research, and were pleased with our choice. Clean, quiet, comfortable. We spent 4 nights, and after the first night, the manager moved us a bit larger room on the back of hotel. The shower was great, the bed comfortable. The hotel is basic, but clean, quiet and comfortable (my three requirements!). The rooms have air conditioning, tv (we never turned it on), and a fridge. The staff speaks very little english, but were so eager to be helpful and were very friendly. We booked a one-day city tour through the hotel, and it was a good value experience. We stumbled across this hotel late on arrival and luckily there was a double room with a hot shower, tv, a fridge and air con for 350000dong (£11). For this hotel this was a perfect price. It is a great location, 10 minutes from the lake, 3 minutes from the market and lots of resturants on the next road. Everything is within walking distance. The only downside was that the staff didn't speak much English (I don't think they were used to foreigners staying there!) but they managed to make us feel very welcomed! ||||I would recommend this hotel to anyone on a budget as the rooms are very comfortable.
