The sheer volume of this place is incredible. Full on meals, banh mis, cakes, a plethora of pastries, sweets, and drinks. We grabbed a handful of pastries and a mini oreo fudge cake.
Only one of the pastries was savory — a spicy shredded chicken — yummy! It had good flavor throughout. The chocolate croissant was so good someone ate it all without sharing! The cheese croissant I would pass on. When I think of cheese pastry, I was imagining a sweet cream cheese — this was a very soft and fluffy filling that was slightly savory and slightly sweet — reminded me of yogurt more than cheese. Croissant waffle: at first I thought dry but then I kept on going in for more. It’s slightly sweet and buttery! Chocolate chip muffin thing — also had a chocolatey syrup center — crowd pleaser for the sweet teeth.
The oreo fudge cake we saved for later… it was the perfect dessert. Small but not too small you can’t share. It was sweet and not too sweet. The fudge portion was dark and so delicious. If you like darker...
Read moreHands-down, the best bakery and dessert place available in this city. I love coming here every single time I make a visit to the city.. the truth is the customer service here is terrible. I really hate to leave a negative review, but this has happened more than once. I speak Vietnamese and I try my hardest to not be rude and understanding towards the culture. But management needs to do a better job training the employees here on how to respect customers and how to provide the proper custom service. I think when an employee looks at a customer and rules their eyes or talk backs to the customer in a rude manner is absolutely not appropriate. I welcome if a manager reaches out to me. I don’t mind giving you my number and speaking to you about this matter. My complaint in this review is about the terrible customer service. But I do want you and everyone to know the food here is amazing and their variety selection is also amazing and I highly recommend you and everyone else...
Read moreThis is a great place to pickup snacks and try different kind is Vienamese (but also international) baked goods. We had the following items: banana bread - very nice and fluffy coconuts Danish - tasty but rather dry texture chocolate croissant - tasty but I still have not found a croissant in Southeast Asia that can take it up with the ones in Europe garlic cream cheese bread - very fluffy and a bit sweet (nice but a bit confusing the sweetness with garlic) banh mi ( 1 chicken & 1 egg) - very tasty small baguettes. We both preferred the one with egg but I could imagine a combination of both to be very good. cheese pastry - I expected it to be savory as it looked like a mini tart but it was sweet. Very tasty though Joghurt (natural) - think rich texture but still fluffy. Very tasty but for quite sweet (European tastebud perspective)
Overall definitely worth a trip! Mind you though: there is not a great seating area but nice for taking...
