Its good for the price but there were a few things that put me off. Our room had a window but the window faced onto an indoor stairwell in another building, thankfully we had a blind to block it out but was still a little off putting. When we checked in there was no toilet roll, there was also opened sachets of shampoo and conditioner in the shower which was telling me the room hadn't been cleaned properly. In the halls you would return to a strong smell of smoke. The room was never cleaned or offered to be cleaned, we were there for 3 nights. The accommodation is in a nice quiet location though, train street is a 30minute walk, if you want to get a taxi to the oldtown its approx. 50,000 which is fine. They allowed us to check in early for free ( only if we cancelled our reservation on booking.com though). Without properly explaining this the man at reception just cancelled it on my phone.

We had an amazing one-week stay at this lovely hotel, perfectly located just outside the hustle and bustle of Hanoi, with a peaceful view over a small lake (make sure to book a room with a window!). What truly made our experience unforgettable was the incredible owner. She organized the next steps of our trip with true expertise — even when all buses and trains were fully booked, she still managed to find us a bus! Our experience here was amazing it's a great spot to stay at in Hanoi, because it's not so busy and you're still close to every highlight in the city. The host is also very friendly and will help you out with everything you can also book trips with her and she even helped me retrieve my lost wallet! Me and my friend had such great time. Nice view also at the lake next to a nice coffee place. I 100% recommend this...
