Unmatched location, but room for improvement in terms of attention to details.

Location makes it an easy walk to opera, old quarter and French quarter. It's also nicer walking in this neighborhood than in old quarter, though restaurant options are better up there. Most tour operators will pick up at hotel for free, though it's only 10 mins walk to opera area.

Stayed in suite 801 for four nights. For a small premium you get 50 square metres of airy space to your own, and a handy location to the communal space one level up. Surely no complaints about that.

But the huge space also comes with numerous windows facing the street, and with one of the windows unable to be properly closed (a loose screw in the hinge left a gap), street noise was quite an issue for this room.

A minor issue is the many curtain blinds you have to manage. Windows are big and you can feel looked on by office workers day time.

No extra amenities for the vast room, which is a shame. So like all rooms in the property there is no TV. No USB charging outlets which is baffling for a newly converted property. No socket in the sitting area too and the coffee table is wonky. The sofa is reasonably comfortable though.

The toilet door could have opened towards the loo instead of the shower. A glass screen could have been used too because the rainforest shower can make the floor unnecessarily wet.

Washers and dryers busy at night so it pays to wake up early and do your laundry in the morning. Commual kitchen could be a good idea elsewhere but this is Vietnam where eating out costs little. Mini fridge is dearly missed.

First floor coworking space is not well used as it can feel constrained. The other M Village property near Hoa Lo prison seems a better choice in terms of amenities, but the location of this hotel...

I was lucky enough to spend 30 days staying at this place. I found this place after the hotel my company booked for me was unsuitable. The hotel is a great location, close to the lake and with easy access to the old quarter and is very modern. It has a big area for working downstairs and a large kitchen with washing machines on the top floor, which is always very cool. The rooms are small and simple but nicely decorated. The rooms were cleaned every day and the room staff were great. The whole place is fantastic and I loved my stay there. But really what was most impressive was the quality of the service of the staff. From the moment I arrived I was made to feel very welcome and all the front desk were always more than happy to help and give advice. They also helped me to arrange taxis every time I needed one. I really felt that the service was exceptional and I would particularly like to mention Trung, Van, Tung and Thanh who were always extremely helpful and kind during my stay. I miss them very much as they were so kind and welcoming. I would definitely stay here again and feel that staying here was one of the best decisions I have made during my...

M Village Hotel @ Ho Guom, you guys are amazing! A special shoutout to Hoang for going the extra mile for my friend. After returning from a sleeper train ride from Sapa, my friend fell very sick — and on top of that, she realized she had left her smartwatch behind in the train cabin.

When we explained our situation to Hoang, without hesitation, he immediately did everything he could to assist us. Not only did he help us contact the Sapa Train Team, but he even personally went all the way to the train station to retrieve the smartwatch and returned it to us.

We were incredibly grateful and beyond speechless at the level of care and service he provided.

And that’s not all — the team also noticed that my friend was feeling very unwell and kindly arranged for us to check in much earlier than usual, even though it was still very early in the morning, something we truly didn’t expect, so that my friend could get much-needed rest.

Thank you so much, Hoang and the M Village Hotel team — you truly made a difference during a difficult time! 🥹❤️

We will definitely be recommending M Village to all our friends! You guys are beyond a...

Room was decent and clean. Bathroom situation: there’s no partition between the shower and the toilet/water closet, so you have to really shower closest to the wall to keep the toilet dry. The placing of the toilet paper holder is weird as well, it keeps falling when you try to take some paper. Whoever designed the spaces, and planned the layout of the rooms, especially thr bathrooms, can do a better job next time. The best part is the service and free amenities. You can wash your clothes, cook, work at the co-working space, for free. Everything was kept clean all the time. Very friendly and helpful staff. Hope they are paid well. 😊 We checked out 2 days ago because we had to go to Ninh Binh, and then we had to go back to Hanoi for our flight out, so we had plenty of waiting time before the flight. The staff offered to keep our luggage while we go around the Old Quarters before the flight. This is 5-star service. Special thanks to this dream team: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Trung - manager Vân - female receptionist Dũng - evening receptionist Tùng - evening receptionist

One of my favourite accommodations. The best value you can have for your Hanoi trip. Room: It has everything you need -hairdryer, iron, ironing board, toiletries-toothbrush, cotton buds, shower cap, razor, etc Kitchen: Very spacious, with complete set of pans, tableware, and utensils, even condiments are provided Laundry: Free, unlimited use of washer, dryer, and detergent Work Condition: There is a coworking space with really aesthetic design, wifi is fast and stable (even inside the room) Area: Walking distance to Hoan Kiem Lake, adjacent to Trang Tien Plaza, tons of restaurants, and cafes in the area Communication: Anything you need can be relayed thru Whatsapp/Viber, and they respond fast Service: The entire team (manager, front staff, and cleaners) is so pleasant, efficient, and proactive *I lost my phone charger and they immediately lent me one and provided great suggestion on where I can make a good purchase
