Not sure if it’s because we ordered the wrong thing…

The hot honey lemon tea was too sweet and tasted very syrupy. Had a few sips and couldn’t finish it. The chocolate cream puff initially had a hair in it but we got it changed and the staff apologised, which is fine! Accidents happen. However, when we tried the chocolate puff, it was okay tasting… nothing amazing. The puff itself was a bit stale, the cream had a nice chocolatey flavour but it wasn’t a good cream-filling. Felt that it could be something bought from a convenient store. Perhaps we were expecting more as it was quite crowded when we looked in previously. So we were a bit disappointed…

We must say that they have a very good variety of pastries, however limited drink options. They don’t have simple hot tea or earl grey tea which we initially wanted.

The Bread Factory is a good place to grab a snack at lunchtime or for dessert. They've got a good selection of different breads, snacks and pastries.

I highly recommend their cheesecakes, which are both affordable and delicious. 70k/slice for Basque cheesecake? You won't find a better deal than that!

Their cupcakes are very moist and savoury. I also like their cinnamon buns.

Some of their dishes, like the garlic bread, are clearly made for Vietnamese tastes, which might be off-putting for some foreigners. The glazed donuts could be better.

Generally a very good shop BUT they need to focus on a more pro-active baking schedule. I visit every year, and the display case is often very sparse. Today, I arrived during the busiest part of the day (noon) and was told to come back at 2pm (I've heard this story in prior years) to obtain chocolate chip cookies. No one was baking anything at that moment, and the display case was noticeably sparsely stocked. Why, why, why don't they have baking going on to keep the case stocked in the busiest part of the day????? It's maddening to encounter this lack of production for especially their most popular items!!!!!...
