during the three days I've been here, only for one day did I have air conditioning. on the day of check out I explained that it was not correct I pay for a service I did not have.

the receptionist was super rude and said he would rather have on booking to say he had air conditioning and did not work, other than to say he had only a fan (so he did not fool customers).

An hour after we checked out, they canceled the reservation on the Booking and thus I lost the Booking campaign discount. They stopped responding to the messages. I have a complaint at Booking right now.

During the night the Hotel has the reception completely empty without any kind of security. they are constantly turning off the air conditioning in the rooms with the people inside. which becomes unbearable. the key is on the reception desk and there is no porthole. as they wrongly canceled and on purpose the reservation so I did not take advantage of the discount, I also can not make an appraisal. There are better options at the same price or the same but...

Good things first: the View was wonderful. And its a little bot outside of the City. The badside was that its really messy and dirty. We were here for 3 days and nights and we had construction works began at 7 am to 22 pm. Sitting at the breakfast with a construction worker hammering and sawing in a 5 Meter range doesnt give you a nice Holiday Feeling at all. There are two showers in total, one was broken from start to finish of our stay. Today we came from a Tour in the National Park and the water in the entire Bungalow complex was turned of. Nobody could say for how Long. English is a Thing as Well... Even when you Show the Stuff with your Finger in the menu what you wanna have,theres a Chance you get Something Else..

If we visit Cat Ba again we would Go somewhere...

Positives: Set back from the main street so it was quieter, very helpful employees at the reception desk and even let us test out their rental motorbikes before hiring (We hadn't driven scooters in ages). One of the cheapest places we stayed and the room was massive. Food was good too-nice breakfast included in the price.||||Negatives: There was a noise coming from the pipes in the walls-these pipes connected to the laundry room/washing machine on the roof, caused constant banging however once we told the receptionist she was more than helpful and gave us another room.||Also no heating-can be chilly in the cooler months at night- however staff were more than happy to give us extra (thicker) blankets so slept really well.||Overall a really lovely hotel and really...
