Phương Đông Hotel — Hotel in Hải Phòng

I was backpacking with my girlfriend and a friend and after looking at different rooms, which were mostly in a dirty state, we went into the Phuong Dong Hotel. The girl at the reception speaks good English, altough the owner doesn't understand a single word ;) |The room had an A/C and was overall the cleanest I stayed in until now (no marks on the linen, clean floor and a very clean and new bathroom). Good washing service and overall friendly, even if the owner looks a bit scary ;)|For cat ba the hotel is a bit off side, but it's really only 3 minutes to the seaside.|We didn't eat there but it looked good. |For three people we paid 100.000 Dong each/per night, which was totally worth it. ||I can recommend this hotel...

My boyfriend and I stayed here for two nights in Feb 2018. The hotel is clean and exceptional in terms of value for money - it was also very quiet. A bit cold but they provided two thick blankets which got rid of that problem whilst sleeping. The hosts speak very limited English, but they have a translation app that you can speak into that solves the problem. The room is furnished to a high standard and the bathroom is great (with constant hot water). WiFi is also good. Only downside is that there is not a safe in the room. Would highly recommend and we would stay here should we return to...

Phuong Dong Hotel truly made our trip to Cat Ba Island unforgettable. The room was impeccably clean and provided all the comforts of home, while the central location allowed us to easily explore the island's attractions. The staff were incredibly attentive and went out of their way to ensure our stay was perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed dining at the hotel's restaurant, where we were treated to delicious meals at reasonable prices. Overall, our experience at Phuong Dong Hotel was nothing short of exceptional, and we would highly recommend it to anyone visiting...
