I came here to visit a friend from the states. Knew right away that this hotel was over-priced and had little to offer. Location was so-so. It's located in a spot where you can walk to several coffee shops nearby. There are plenty of restaurants close by. The food selection in this area is plenty food but the quality is below average. For the price of $40 a night is outrageous. You can get the same rate at a decent hotel in D1. This is Phu Nhuan which isn't the Beverly Hills of Saigon mind you. The room is crappy to say the least. The decor is boring. You are better off staying in an Airbnb for half the price. No breakfast and not even water bottle was available. I parked my motorbike in the basement which has several signs saying 'No charge for motorbike parking', yet the security guy asked for a payment of 10,000 dong when I picked up my bike. Overall, a deceitful and subpar customer service with crappy room is all the reason you need to stay away from this hotel. Oh, ditto with the comment on the front desk guy. He didn't seem like he wanted to be there. My friend was the only guest staying in the hotel at the time and they had like 5...
Read moreThis hotel stays in a good location but that is a only one positive point I can say. The room is dirty with poor facilities. I stay only one night there during a transit time in Hochiminh.
The worst thing is the services of this hotel: In the next day morning, I did check out and requested for the tax invoice. They cannot provide the invoice then asked me to drop my address for sending the paper later. The total value was charged with 10% additional for the VAT. Then two weeks later, I tried to call the hotel to ask for my invoice. Suprising that no one pick up the phone. I maked many calls but no success until the 3rd day. The answer I received is the hotel did not keep any information about my request. The guy asked me to provide my info again for sending the invoice. One week after that I still received nothing. I call and the hotel guy say he will verify again. Nothing valued reply for my so many calls.

Read moreI booked and prepaid 5 nights in this hotel on Agoda.com. When I arrived after a long and tiring trip, all sweaty and longing for a cold shower and fresh clothes, the clueless guy at the front desk rudely told me that they no longer honor reservations from booking sites!!!||He did no effort at all to try to help me find another room, he didn't offer a towel or some water, he didn't offer transport to another hotel. He didn't care at all!||10 minutes later another gentleman walked in and he got the same rude treatment and was sent off as well.||||I can understand that they want to get rid of the booking sites, but they can at least honor the reservations of the last guests that did choose their lousy hotel over tons of other options.||There are much better hotels in Phu Nuanh (which is a very nice area to stay in if you've had enough of the noise of D1). So...
