I got cheated by this stall. Please avoid!! The seller seems friendly but is actually dishonest and uses deceptive tactics.

They under weigh and over charge you.

Tea - I bought 100g but it is actually less. The weight includes the packaging as well.

Nuts - whole pack of macadamia weighs 511g, but actual weight is less after deducting the packaging (10g), their paper advert (4g) and 2x nut openers (12g). It may seem like small amount but 20-30g each pack and I bought almost 20 packs, it adds up into about 500g less!

I told them I am buying a lot and they told me they will give me good discount, so in good faith I did not haggle the prices at all. It was a mistake. In the end, they took advantage of my good nature and only gave discount on one item (less 30k vnd), the rest full price.

I will never buy from this shop...

À friend of mine bought me to this gem at Tan Dinh market! Boy was I spoiled for choices on all the dry food and fruits available. And there is almost no limit to variety the lady boss allow us to sample! Nice, crunchy, fresh and tasty. Once you made the selection, the stall will nicely vacuum pack it allowing for safe transport on flight.

Staff were extremely friendly and although they were busy packing large suitcase of orders for Japanese customers, they did not hesitate to serve even for us making small orders. I am slightly embarrassed we took up so much of their time but again Vietnamese are very patience.

The price are definately at local rates and even if it is marked up slightly it is still super value for money and they will even make a small discount for large order.

My only regret is not buying MORE back to...

Friendly staffs who can speak Mandarin, Cantonese, Japanese, and some English languages. Not pushy and were patience.

They were more than happy to let you sample any item generously.

The cashew nut with skin was plump and creamy. The macadamia nut was sweet and creamy. The pumpkin seed was nice.

The dried mango was meaty, fragrant, and not overly sweet.

The chilli pink guava was nice.

The mango and lychee soft sweets had unique jelly liked texture, fragrant, and not overly artificially sweet. Yummy.
