A Charming and Authentic Homestay Experience
If you’re looking for a cozy and authentic stay, this homestay is a great choice, especially when viewed for what it is: a welcoming home rather than a hotel. Tucked away in a small alley within another bigger alley, it offers a peaceful and local experience away from the bustle of main roads. While cars can’t reach the doorstep, bikes can, and it’s just a short walk in. Finding the location was a bit tricky at first due to the lack of signage or an address plate, but once there, the stay was well worth it.
I stayed in Room 4, a compact space exactly as pictured. Though it didn’t have a television, it was clean, quiet, and had everything I needed. The bathroom is private but located outside the room, so there’s a small inconvenience of locking up before stepping out for a shower. The water heater wasn’t working on my first day, but the host responded immediately and had it fixed by the next afternoon, and I’m very impressed by the responsiveness and care.
One of the highlights was the lovely balcony right outside Room 4, perfect for relaxing with a coffee or reading a book.
Pros: Excellent value for money Authentic local feel Super responsive and helpful host Clean, quiet, with all the essentials (Wi-Fi, power outlets, hot water, etc.) Charming outdoor spaces
Things to keep in mind: Not a hotel, this is a homestay with a more local and personal vibe Access may be tricky for those with large luggage or mobility issues due to steps and a heavy main door Bathrooms, while private, are not en-suite
Overall, a wonderful option for travelers looking for simplicity, character, and great hospitality.

It's tucked away inside an alley, but it's still easy to find, so no worries there. The host is super friendly and even offers free meals like instant coffee and noodles, which is a nice touch when you just want something quick and simple.
One thing I really liked is that you can use all the utensils and kitchenware as long as you clean up and put them back afterward. It feels like being at home where you can make yourself comfortable. Plus, you can book without needing a credit card, which makes things really convenient. Git free bees ( healthy snack)

Read moreThis Homestay has some nice facilities such as free laundry and a small kitchen with free noodles which were very nice for the price that you pay. However, there were some issues that made our stay less comfortable. First of all, the mattress/ bed was dented, which made you roll to the middle all the time. Also, the building is very noisy. We were sleeping on the first floor and were woken up by the opening of the front door multiple times because it was very loud. Our biggest issue with our stay was the bathroom. It was absolutely filthy. The shower was full of mould and hairs and it looks like it hasn't been cleaned in ages. I think if you want to welcome guests, the least you can do is offer a clean place. This was not clean at all...
