Duy Tan 2 Hotel — Hotel in Hue City

Our stay at the Duy Tan 2 Hotel in Hue was nothing short of a disaster. ||||As part of a Djoser Family tour, we were assigned to stay here for one night, but the experience was so terrible that we left in protest the following day.||||The room was shockingly dirty, with dust, hair, and grime clearly visible everywhere. ||||The bathroom was equally unkempt, adding to the sense that basic cleanliness was not a priority here. ||||The hotel facilities only added to the disappointment—everything felt neglected and rundown, with a complete lack of care in maintenance. ||||On top the staff was very unfriendly and unprofessional: they just refused is a second key for our room due hotel policy!||||Duy Tan 2 Hotel was far below any acceptable standard, and we wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for even the most basic comfort or...

This hotel is situated down a quiet side street which at night may be a little challenging for a lone female traveller - that said didn’t see anything to raise concerns. It’s quite a large city and like all cities we were warned to take care with valuables when on the street. ||My room was spacious and clean no problems at all but it is looking a little tired in places checked online for the two days we were there rooms were £22 per night so a bargain really? First the reception wanted to keep our passports for the duration of our stay . When we objected she was surly but photocopied them and returned them to us.||Next there was no tea or coffee in any of the rooms. Also no cups. There was an electric||Kettle,. What for.
