Mandarin Café — Restaurant in Hue City

This address is wrong for the Madarin Cafe that I ate at. Go north up this main street and turn at the first left. It's next to the Google Hotel. We were so happy we stumbled upon this place after our errand to the P.O. It was such a treat from all the overpriced, mediocre restaurants around our hotel. It has been a while since we have found a place with a good vegetarian selection and a well priced veggie burger. We will definitely make the walk to come back. Food wasn’t great. I ordered steak, it was more like a rubber shoe sole. I ordered a Fanta which took wayyyyy too long to come. Once we had finished our meal it went straight through me, not sure how hiegenic the kitchen conditions are compared to other places. The owner although nice was slow and can prioritise, cheque took forever to come and he didn’t even give us change...

Very good place, the staff is so friendly, and the food is very gooood, the best french fries I have eaten in Vietnam, and the dishes were so good, vegetable noodles with vegetables crunchy, as I like, meat very good and also chiken, all was very tasty and the place was very nice with owner pics...they gifted us 2 when finished lunch...will go again with no doubt.
