We had booked an Executive with Ocean view at DTX Hotel for my first time came to Nha Trang city. The location of the hotel was great – near with the beach and many restaurant, convenience store nearby. The room was spacious and clean with the best view, i could see the gorgeous dawn in the morning as well. Welcome drinks were served on arrival along with discount voucher for the spa.
Restaurant was excellent in terms of the portion, taste of food and the cost. Breakfast buffet had a good spread, both international and local.
The Spa in hotel was one of our favourites. We opted for 90 mins Herbal Harmony Therapy which was extremely relaxing. Special thanks to the therapists Ms.Oanh as well as Ms. Phuong and Mr. Tu from the reception who helped us choose the best treatment. We did get an opportunity to use the gym/swimming pool. The best thing is that the gym and swimming pool both have sea views, i can completely feel the wonderful time with my family with such beautiful scenery. Next to the swimming pool is a small bar so you can have fresh drinks after or when using the pool.
The most noteworthy part about this hotel was the staff who were not only professional and polite but also took extra initiative to make our stay wonderful and pleasant. Ms. Phuong from front desk assisted with the check-in process. She also suggested attractions and restaurants/dishes to try and also gave me some advises and tips for traveller in Nha Trang. She was very pro-active and helpful.
Overall, we had a great great time and we highly recommend DTX Hotel and I will recommend to all tourists coming to Nha Trang in the future. I really look forward to our next visit cause i want to comeback to Nha...
Read moreOne of the best hotel experiences we ever had. We stayed 6 nights. The hotel is just 5 mins walk to the beach and has an amazing (small) pool with ocean view at the rooftop. Not many sunbeds so try to get there early. We had a room with sea view and a huge, super comfortable bed (2 single beds together). Sparkling clean modern room and the breakfast was great as well. As we are vegetarian the hotel staff went above and beyond to accommodate our wishes, preparing something vegetarian every day just for us. We will never forget how friendly, professional and genuine the people at DTX were. From the general manager Mr. Nguyen Trong who made sure to greet every guest personally in the morning and teach us some words in Vietnamese, to Mr. Nguyen Anh Quy, the F&B Manager, who is a vegan and was so kind to organise a vegetarian breakfast for us, gave us restaurant recommendations and took amazing care of us. Another wonderful person was the lovely lady at the reception, who literally went to the train station to help us with train tickets and we cannot forget the trainee doorman from Hanoi who was always super nice and friendly greeting us every day with a smile. We never experienced hospitality like that and we travel 2 to 3 months a year all over the world. We felt like we were at home and will definitely come back when in Viet Nam again. We usually do a lot of research online before booking long stays and this is definitely the best you can find in the area. If possible we would give 6 stars!!! Thank you for everything....
Read moreBreakfast chef and whoever is in charge of the set up and the menu should start looking for another job or at least be downgraded to a 1 star hotel. It was a really poor breakfast, starting with a lousy coffee, only one (incredibly weak) tea, only one juice option, tasteless food, etc. Eggs (sunny side up) were swimming in oil, found a piece of paper (perhaps actual recipe) in the cookie, made up recipes and destroying classic local meals (no one puts potatoes in Com Chien, or carrots in Pho, etc.). Just the brains behind the whole breakfast set up and menu is simply not for this level of hotel, and someone else should start from the scratch. The hotel itself doesn't seem like a 4 star (more a 3 star) at all and the service too. Majority of the staff is not really attentive or truly interested in customers, until they are checking out. A lot of them need to attend a few hospitality courses. Carpets chosen for the inside of the hotel look very cheap and to see how they are unevenly cut in the elevators, is just funny. We only had warm water sometimes and the water pressure itself was very weak. Even though we booked a double bed room, all we got was a 2 single beds put together, so I ended up with a free backache. Our fridge wasn't working at all. Whoever gave this hotel 4 stars (if actually anyone), should really question their decision and strongly rethink if they know what they are doing. Only good thing was that our room...
