Galangal — Restaurant in Nha Trang City

Bad, terrible, the boss and staffs of this Galangal restaurant try to rip me off twice time. On the first time, i spent 560.000vnd but they made mistakes, they showed me the bill "710.000vnd", they made wrong dishes to take more my money. Ok, all people make mistakes on all their life, no problem. However, on the last time (today, 17th February, 2018) i spent only 276.000 and they tried to rip me off one more time, the bill was 378.000vnd. 329.000 for my food and 49.000 for tet holiday (they want more money on tet holiday, 15%). They tried to make me confused and robbed 19.000 (approximately 1$ US) of me. Haha, don't laugh me, don't think that 1$ US is a small amount of money, what happened if they do that with all their costumers (you)? Oh my God, one day, they will rob a lot of money from many people, see they tried to rob 102.000 vnd but unsuccessfully, then they tried to rob 19.000 vnd. I can't do anything because there are many staffs there and im alone with my foreign husband :( all customers speak Chinese or Russian :( i can't help them or let them know. I wish you won't eat there and won't lost money. Terrible experience! The staffs never told me "sorry for mistake". They just offended me that "i care about 19.000 vnd so i came back". Haha....

I don’t think service can get any worse. I arrived at 2pm, no crowd, not busy. After being seated and given a menu, the waiters forgot about me, I had to get off my seat to chase one down to place my order. I ordered Pho Bo, which typically takes minutes to serve. After a while, I questioned where my meal was, I looked at the kitchen bench and saw my food, I waited patiently, then I became impatient and again got off my seat to remind the waiter of my food…The waiters were too busy talking and texting to realize that my food was ready. After getting my food, I was disappointed at the quality of the Pho, it was tasteless and they didn’t serve me with lime! Pho is served with lime and green leaves of basil etc 100% of the time. Again, I had to chase down the waiter to ask for lime. They then decided to place a fan directly in front of me, blowing the empty can of coke off my table…. Literally! I had enough, paid 78,000VND (almost twice the normal price, for a terrible Pho), and I left disgruntled...

Went for an early dinner at 5.45pm when it was not busy and quiet. There were many staff but they ignored me, the guys were too busy looking into their phones to seat me or take my order. Only one lady waitress who was busy with customers at the back of the restaurant noticed me waiting after a while, and came over to seat me with a menu. Then I still had to get the guys attention to come and take my order. I was very tempted to get up and walk out, but it’s a nice looking restaurant with good reviews, so I really wanted to try it. Unfortunately, it fell slightly short of my expectations! The fresh spring rolls & Pork Bahn Mi, are fresh & presented nicely, but a bit bland in flavour, needs more tasty herbs. However, the dessert 🍮 Banh Flan (crème Carmel) was very tasty & yummy! 🤤 Just need to improve on...
