GOOD NEWS -- They're back !!! I recently had the pleasure of dining with my family at one of our favorite restaurants - the newly re-opened Yashoda Indian Restaurant. The restaurant had been shuttered as a result of the pandemic, during which time we watched the location, impatient for their return. Well, I'm happy to say, "The wait is over!"
The original owner, the managerial staff, and the chef are all back, which became obvious once we tasted the food. The Butter Chicken was perfectly-cooked with a creamy sauce containing all of the flavors we had been longing for. The children raved about the Chana Masala and my wife and I about the Tarka Dhal that was sublime in richly-seasoned heartiness. The Parathas came hot off the grill - delicious and flaky on the outside. A pot of aromatic and spicy Masala Chai made for a great ending to our meal.
Just like all those times before the pandemic, we were very impressed with our experience at Yashoda Indian Restaurant. The food is excellent, the service is great, and the atmosphere is welcoming. I'm happy to once again be able to say, "I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic and delicious Indian food in Nha Trang." Rating: 5...

I’m a big fan of Indian food, but unfortunately, I haven’t had much of an opportunity to eat good Indian food in years.
I used to live in an area with a high Indian population, and really enjoyed going to those restaurants.
That was years ago, and I’ve had many disappointments since then.
And surprise surprise, I finally found good Indian food again, right here in Nha Trang.
The food at YASHODA is absolutely authentic.
The owner and the cooks are actually from India, and make real Indian cuisine. The flavors the ingredients, everything is exactly what I was hoping for.
I was turned onto YASHODA by my Indian friend, and I am very thankful and grateful that he did.
The owner, is very nice man, and because we live close to the restaurant, he will deliver to us - BONUS!
Also, the pricing is really good.
My wife likes the fish tikka, and pretty much any fish they have there, and any of their curry dishes are outstanding.
And you have to get the garlic naan bread. So good. Oh yeah, definitely get Samosa, they are all good.
By the way, the place has good air conditioning and has a nice...
Read moreHonestly, I don't know where all their stars came from. Me and my friend went today to this place because of the reviews and asked for a palak paneer and they gave us just a green creamy paste, which was not even close to a real Palak Paneer. I mean, I am not from India and never been to it, but had tried palak paneer before in good Indian restaurants in Auckland and Australia, and this... This is not what I was expecting for a 320.000d dinner. It seemed they just put three leaves of spinach and a full can of cream and mixed them together to make this horrible and tasteless green-grass coloured paste. We were literally eating creamy rice. We felt really disappointed about this. We are food lovers and very critics with what we eat. We don't say it's good when it's not, we are not easy to satisfied, we tell the truth and this was one of the worst experience ever. So, my advice for the restaurant, as Indians, you know that it was wrong. You know it can be better and closer to the real Palak paneer. So, don't fool people and make India be proud of...
