The worst check-in experience I have ever had.
We arrived early at the hotel so thought to check-in first and leave our luggage while waiting for the room. Then they asked to leave our passports at the reception which we refused to - have never been asked that ever. I am sure no guest would want to leave their passports at the front desk.
The worst part is: A receptionist called Mrs. Chung was incredibly rude and acted inappropriately towards us when we went back for the room. She asked us to pay £110 for the New Year’s Eve Gala, which I overlooked in the booking initially, so I asked questions about the ‘Gala’. Then she rolled her eyes and said ‘Do you even speak English???’. It’s rather a funny question to someone who speaks English his entire life.
She was condescending, rude, rolling her eyes, and talking under her breath THE WHOLE TIME. There were lots of ‘Tsks’ from her during the encounter. Oh also, she THREATENED to cancel our booking and KICK US OUT if we don’t pay the ‘Gala’ fee.
The language barrier was never the problem, but her attitude was. I believe Mrs. Chung is a problematic employee at your hotel, and serious actions should be taken regarding this matter. She is the reason why the hotel got many 1-star reviews undoubtedly.
The bathroom and toilet got a weird smell, the room...
Read moreTHE WORST STAY OF MY LIFE, AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! I wouldn’t stay here again if you paid me. The room smelled like a mix of damp socks and regret. The bed? Harder than the floor, which was covered in mysterious stains that I prayed weren’t alive.
The staff were about as friendly as a broken vending machine. When I asked for fresh towels, they looked at me like I had insulted their ancestors. Also, what kind of hotel has “no water after 8 p.m.”? I felt like I was camping, except without any of the charm or fresh air.
Don’t get me started on the “breakfast.” Cold coffee, stale bread, and scrambled eggs that resembled plastic. If you’re into culinary nightmares, this is the place for you.
And the noise—oh, the noise! Between the thin walls, screaming kids, and a dog barking like it was auditioning for a horror movie, I didn’t sleep a wink.
Save yourself the misery. This isn’t a hotel; it’s a poorly managed detention center. I left early and felt like I had escaped a...
Read moreWorst place we have ever lived. No luxury at all. Very bad service upon arrival in the reception. The hotel said our reservation was cancelled - which it was not. Had to contact hotels.com for help. Hotels.com tried calling the hotel but the people in the reception ignored all call even when we stood there and asked them to answer.
After 3 hours of chatting with hotels.com they finally gave us our rooms. The rooms are in poor conditions. The safe was broken and it was not possible to lock the door.
In the evening we also found a cockroach in the bathroom sink.
The staff dont speak english. Breakfast bad.
Will never...
