Can I give a minus star?
The hotel looks TOTALLY different from the photos that are posted on the internet. It was super run down!
On arrival, the front desk was dusty.
We went to our rooms on 4th floor, the corridor lights were all off. It looks so scary. The feeling of entering the room also gave us a chill. The paintings also gave us a bad feeling. We couldnt change hotel because there were a group of us. The room is very big.
On 1st day, there were only warm water for shower. On 2nd day, we don't even have warm water. The water pressure was so low that no water was coming out from the shower head. And this is for ALL our rooms. I have to shower using the bidet spray and of course, that is only cold water.
The toilet was a good size. At the shower area, there was no space to place the toiletries. You will need to walk at least 15 steps to get those unless you place them on the floor.
The bathtub - it was not working in one room and in the other, the jacuzzi pump, was pumping dirty water out.
Breakfast - the staff at the breakfast area were seen talking away instead of looking after the needs of guests.
On the last day, I asked to speak to the manager with one counter staff. That particular staff told me that the manger is not in. I asked when will he/she be in, she replied, I DONT KNOW.
Despite of all these, I must give a thumb up for Ms Thuy. After knowing all these issues, she kept apologizing on behalf of the hotel owner. She is very sincere and helpful. Keep up the good job!
In order to continue the business, the hotel really needs to renovate and...
Read moreDO NOT STAY HERE. Not worth it. Expensive for what it is. We came in a big group and there were so many problems.
Room: Although some rooms had the ocean view but the sizes of the rooms were very different. Some was really small with a double bed and some were huge with a king size bed. We were all charged at the same price, which was not fair. The room was musky so we had to open the balcony’s door to air it out. The bed was made but the sheets was not changed daily as we requested. It was only changed if we were in the room and requested it. The balcony’s door does not close properly. It’s really not safe. Some of us had keycards and some just keys for our door. We didn’t mind but our door was soooo hard to open and this was a more expensive room.
Bathroom: Amenities were not supplied extra when we have finished it. The bathroom stinks! It rank! We had to leave the lights on for the fan to air it out. The shower screen didn’t serve its purpose. The water leaks out and the whole bathroom is wet. There was NO HOT WATER to shower in every room.
Aircon: The aircon was either weak or not even working. This was a problem in every room, not just ours. We had to request a change-of-room but they wanted to charge us extra. In all of the rooms, only we had a standing fan and even that was taken away after the 2nd night there. They came and took the fan whole we weren’t there. That’s just rude.
They didn’t resolve any of our problems and even wanted to CHARGE EXTRA. It’s so ridiculous. Definitely was NOT a resort. They didn’t have a spa as the name suggested. It’s...
Read moreLocation : Great location. There’s bus stop (vinbus) nearby so you can easily go to explore most of the places. 10 mins walking distance then you can reach Phu Quoc Night Market.
Facilities : They have nice declarations in the pool area, you can overlooking the sea & sunset, so you can either just chill there or taking tons of beautiful photos.
Food : Their breakfast was good, various food items provided (but not too much choice for vegetarian) and taste good.
Room : It will be great if the shower water can be adjusted. As it’s lukewarm only so I felt freeze when I taken shower in the evening after back. Also some of the rooms are using key and for some of us may not easy to manage (it’s hard to open the door when you back).
Service : The quality about front desk staff wasn’t in the same standard. Some kind of staff not willing to listen & assist guests. But some will provide good service & assist. Highly appreciated Ms Tran (i’m not sure am I spelling correct but she’s the lady whom is petite but with warm heart and helpful). She made my stay in Phu Quoc become more comfort and easy as I was my first time in here. And I had witnessed (i was arrival early on the checkin date) she treat each guests with good service.
I would said it’s Good Valued Hotel. I love my stay there and hope to be...
