Aloha Bar & Restaurant Welcome is one of the worst places I’ve eaten at in Vietnam. The staff is extremely unpleasant – they barely communicate with you, and when they do, it’s in a rude and unfriendly manner. Don’t expect a smile or even the slightest bit of customer service. The drinks are priced like in a high-end restaurant, but this place is nowhere near that level. The food portions are absolutely miserable, leaving you hungry and disappointed. And the coffee? By far the worst I’ve had in Vietnam – watery, flavorless, and completely undrinkable. To make matters worse, they tried to scam us by adding an extra 25,000 VND to our bill for a beer we never ordered. If you care about good service, decent food, and a pleasant atmosphere, stay far away from this place.
It’s funny that you’re asking for proof in the form of a receipt when your waitress never actually gave us one—she only showed it on her phone. My presence at your restaurant was recorded by Google, which asked me to leave a review as a Local Guide.
I was there exactly when I posted my review on Google. I ordered a milk coffee for 35,000 VND, sandwiches for 60,000 VND, and a beer that was supposed to cost 25,000 VND but would have been 50,000 VND if we hadn’t noticed you were overcharging us.
Overcharging tourists must be a standard practice for you if you don’t even remember the person whose bill you...

Read moreWhat an amazing location on this clean beach metres away from Thien Thanh Resort where we have just arrived after travelling the whole of Vietnam. Sadly this has to be the worst meal we have had so far throughout our travels in Vietnam after eating in the most amazing Vietnamese restaurants - from the North to the South - from street food in city alleyways to street food in local markets to Michelin star restaurants. Tonight we experienced very poorly flavoured, luke warm, poor quality food, weak cocktails and what felt like very end of season lazy service, this was coupled with them clearing the place down while we were still eating at 8.30pm when they supposedly remain open until 10pm. Such a shame as we were looking for a local place to drink and eat close to our hotel while we stay for the next week. So disappointed but hopefully you can up your game in the future with such a...
