Anh Nhi Hotel — Hotel in Sa Pa Ward

Horrible, horrible, horrible, horrible. I booked a VIP bus ticket to Ha Giang from Sapa from here and didn’t get to go on the bus. Instead they said I could then take the night bus. So I had to spend the whole day waiting around for the bus. Then was put on a night instead of the VIP.

When I asked the owner of the location this she didn’t know anything since she claimed she wasn’t responsible for the bus (despite selling the ticket).

I then watched her scream at a group of girls for asking for toilet paper since they hadn’t bought any food (despite having booked the bus ticket through her hotel).

I stayed at this hotel in 2019 & 2022 when my regular hotel was fully booked. I often stop by in the morning for coffee and tea.||||They have done some major renovations over the past two years. The lobby and front of the building look really great.||||This hotel can be very busy with westerners who are doing packaged trekking tours. ||||The owners are just as nice as can be.||||The rooms themselves are small and fairly basic; typical budget accommodations. I stayed one night at this hotel and it was a good choice for that. The location is convenient if you need to catch a bus—perfect for arrival or departure days—but it’s not close to the city center.

The room was spacious, the shower had nice hot water, and overall it was comfortable. However, the room was a little bit humid with a slight musty smell.

If you’re looking for a place to stay near the bus station for just a night, it’s a very good option.
