Jolilian- Hotel Rời Về 151 Hoàng Hoa Thám — Hotel in Vung Tau City

I really wanted to love this hotel, but there are a few things that didn't make my stay that great. Got off to bad start when I arrived, the night reception staff displayed such an attitude and rude demeanor. No hello or welcome, the guy could not even be bothered to speak to me. First, I thought he was mute. I was almost tossed the key, no explanation about anything. The worst experience in all of Vietnam. The studio itself was clean and I appreciated having a kitchen and a washing machine. But there was a fishy smell in the room, coming from the vent in the bathroom that is connected to a ventilation shaft that must lead to a restaurant kitchen. The balcony has privacy and a clothes drying rack, but no furniture to sit on. There are plenty of chairs on the abandoned rooftop that could have used. The location is not far from front beach and the seafood street market is just around the corner. However, a good night's sleep was hard to come by. I know Vietnam is not the quietest of countries, but every night there were people in the seafood restaurant opposite, that were super noisy and drank until the early hours, yelling and screaming and falling off their chairs. Would I stay here again? No, there are certainly better...

I stayed in this location in January 2025 for one week. I considered the location excellent as it was only several blocks from the sea and near many small homes and restaurants. There was The Scittys fish market around the corner I was often asked if I needed my apartment cleaned and I appreciated that. I also enjoyed all of the employees at the front desk. Khách sạn nằm trên đường Đinh Tiên Hoàng rất gần bãi sau. Vị trí khá thuận tiện để đi dạo biển. Đối tiện có quán ốc lẩu ngon, đỡ mất thời gian tìm quán ăn. Không gian nhỏ nhưng phòng ốc sạch sẽ. Điểm trừ: phòng bố trí giường không hợp lý lắm, phòng mình đặt 2 giường thì máy lạnh gắn lệch 1 bên khiến 1 giường rất nóng còn 1 giường khá lạnh, wifi rất yếu hầu như không xài được, dù mình lưu trú ngày thường không có nhiều khách. Gối dồn bông cứng khá cao nằm rất mỏi cổ không thể ngủ được. Nên xem lại gối vì không phải ai cũng nằm được gối cao Trừ thêm 1 điểm vì vừa đến đã bắt trả tiền phòng trước. Không biết do mình ít đi ở khách sạn nên mới gặp trường hợp này lần đầu hay sao, mà cô trực quầy lễ tân nói đó giờ luôn thu tiền phòng trước bình thường mà. Ủa là có nhiều khách sạn thu tiền phòng trước luôn hả ta? 🤔Vì cô nói chuyện cũng vui vẻ nên không khó chịu lắm, và cuối cùng khi check out mình mới thanh toán tiền phòng, chỉ thắc mắc xíu vậy thôi. À còn một điều là không gian để xe khá nhỏ, nếu ngày thường đông khách thì sẽ không có chỗ để xe hơi. Ai đi xe hơi...
