I donāt even know where to start.. everything here was absolutely perfect. The moment we entered the place, I was immediately impressed by the vibe and overall ambiance. The restaurant looked so clean and tidy. I was even amazed by their homewares..the bowls were so simple but beautiful! The owner must really have great taste when it comes to these kinds of details.
Then came the food⦠Omg ! Everything was so good !!! The side dishes were perfectly made ! You can really tell they take pride in them because they tasted so homemade. The kimchi soup, tteokbokki, black bean noodles, and fried chicken were all perfect and exactly to me and my friends liking.
I visited Korea in 2023, and this is the first time in two years that Iāve had Korean food this delicious and authentic. The portions were huge too.. we couldnāt even finish everything because it was too much for us! I really wished we could take the leftovers home, but it was our last night in Adelaide and we were staying in a hotel.
And the dessetā¦Omg! I honestly wanted to cry..thatās how good the bingsu was! I live in Darwin, and there arenāt many options for Korean dessert here, so it had been a really long time since I had proper bingsu. Overall, itās been a long time since Iāve had real, aunthentic Korean food like this. The service was excellent, and even the music they played in the restaurant added to the great atmosphere. We also ordered their tiramisu for takeaway and ate it the next morning, and not being so dramatic, it was also super yummy. Busan Baby is a place I highly recommend! I would consider moving to Adelaide because of Busan Baby. Hehe š«¶š»š«°š»
P.S Thank you to the owner for giving us the bingsu...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFor a Thursday night dinner, my family and I of 7 people had the bo ssam lettuce wrap (both bulgogi beef [see image] and slow cooked pork) which had ssamjang sauce for both pork and beef Bo ssam dishes, bulgogi beef stew [image below], dumpling stew [image below], soy garlic Korean fried chicken and kimchi pork with crispy tofu. The bulgogi stew had a solid amount of beef in it, the broth was a tad salty but since I had a drink with it, it kept me wanting to drink more of the broth, super addicting and beefy and underneath was glass noodles so that was really nice. The dumpling stew unexpectedly had tteokbokki which was chewy and soft as well as glass noodles too. As for the kimchi pork and crispy tofu, the crispy tofu was out of this world, crunchy but light and fluffy on the inside. Lastly, the Korean fried chicken although hard to eat and it got real messy, the batter was super crunchy and the sauce was just perfect for having an alcoholic beverage to go with it. Highly recommend the fried chicken, especially if you are having a beer to go with it. They also had makgeolli (rice wine) for $10 for a 750mL bottle so that was banging. The service was prompt and polite. They also gave us takeaway containers for the leftover stew with a plastic bag to make it easier for us to carry it home. Overall the food was exceedingly good, the customer service was outstanding and the cost was affordable for the amount we had. Will definitely be...

Certified chicken skin mission. 8.5 out of 10. Would send again.
Me see chicken. Me bite. Crunch thunder. Juice rain. Brain happy. Spicy basket slaps. Sweet heat, sticky as a servo floor at 2 am, nutty crunch on top. Cheesy dust basket tastes like snow made of Twisties. Wild. Pickled radish resets the tongue. Sip of water. Back in the ring.
This joint bangs. Skin is the headline act, light and crackly with a clean fry. Meat stays juicy, not dry like a Monday schnitzel. Two baskets did damage. The red sticky one for heat lovers. The cheese dust one for gremlins who want chaos. Portions solid. Came out hot. No soggy sadness. Staff moved quick. Plates landed in under ten. Vibe is dark booth, cold glass, zero faff. Adelaide feed done right.
Go half and half. Ask for extra radish. Let the wings breathe one minute so you do not nuke the roof of your mouth. Bring napkins or wear the sauce like war paint. Pair with a beer and call your mum.
Skin rating 8.5 out of 10. Crunch that echoes from the Malls Balls to West Lakes. I am coming back...
