Review specific to "click& collect" order delivered to car boot (and using the app) along with customer service. Location of click and collect was virtually impossible to find. Doesn't have location instructions on app, email, order info etc. The carpark is a horror show. The app continuously glitches, and is not accessible for disabled customers. I couldn't use it easily, and I'm very tech savvy, but this is unnecessarily complicated.
Now I understand why my elderly hate online shopping, as they had only used Coles. Now I will make sure they have the Woolworths app, so they can easily have accessibility for online shopping and direct to boot orders with ease.
The user interface appears designed to force customers to shop in store just to avoid ever using the app again. I'm an app beta tester and this seems less user friendly than majority of unreleased apps from tiny startups.
How can such a huge supermarket chain with a stranglehold on consumer market have an almost useless online shopping experience? I will never use this again.
This experience was traumatic even with my disability support worker assisting me. We tried calling but no answer, and a stranger in the carpark directed us to location. Massive fail on Coles to have multiple carpark levels and no instructions on where to park.
Finally found the designated car park space but signage insisted reverse parking, which wasn't possible with the behaviour of other drivers and trolleys everywhere. . The staff member bringing order to boot was ouright rude, maybe because of me not reverse parking? She appeared hate both us and her job (or at least extremely apathetic, condescending and indifferent) Not disabilty friendly, discriminatory and rude staff, poor directions, extremely inaccessible carpark, lgbtqi+ outright discrimination.

Read moreAnother glorious construction dedicated to the movement of goods from one group of people being taken advantage of to another group of people being taken advantage of. It's clean, well lit, and constantly reminding the shoppers about how they are the ones taking advantage of the producers.
Huzzah!
Will it stop us from shopping here? No, it will not. The alternative is too inconvenient for our excessively over-trained, preconceived ideas on what is and is not acceptable for our living situation. Continue to fill your empty lives...
Read moreThis is not the first time myself and others have had to stand waiting for help with no one on hand as regularly the coles worker is leaving the self serve checkouts to work on and serve the front desk, this is not ok as with health issues standing still too long effects my breathing and spine and joint damage and there has been other elderly people waiting also, get your act together Coles one worker should not be doing two jobs in two...
