KFC Albany — Restaurant in Western Australia

We were treated with high level disrespect when we ordered 30 pieces of Chicken plus extras for a $90 walk in order. We asked if we can have a larger proportion drumsticks and wings, and were told by MATHEW that they don't do that. "You cant pick what pieces you want" he said. So without argument we settled for what we thought was going to be an even spread of Wing, Drumstick, Thigh and Breast. Fair enough. Seven or Eight of each is reasonable.

However, the teenager staff in there tricked us. No wonder MATHEW had such a big smirk on his face when we walked out. They unloaded their excess Breast pieces on us.

We ended up with: 3 pieces of Drumstick 3 pieces of Wing 3 pieces of Thigh 21 pieces of Breast

This order was for a funeral wake were we ran out of food. The appalling selection was unfortunately noticed by the wake attendees. This KFC outlet is ridiculous.

Completely unacceptable service from MATHEW and his buddies at 3:45 pm, 24th Feb, store #9901.

In the cities you can buy a 'bucket' where you don't choose, but for this, the 'bucket' option is cheaper. However, it was my understanding that when you buy per piece, which is more expensive, you get to choose. Well then... Albany must have a different customer service code to other KFC outlets!

Terrible store and poorly managed. Some staff are good but others really need to be trained properly. Food was cold and products were missing. Complained to the store and they said they would talk to the relevant staff and hopefully they will improve. Management needs to learn how to handle complaints properly and effectively and not just complain about the staff back to me. Not very professional. Avoid if you value decent food and decent service. Edit - Thanks for pretending to care KFC. If you bothered to read the complaint you would know that I’ve contacted you and handled the complaint poorly. You failed to follow up on a further complaint so you clearly don’t give a crap , just pretending for Google. I’m just here to let others know not to waste time and money...

We went through the drive through and ordered for three people, the food was OK standard. The issue was when we picked up our food which cost us about $45 and we asked for a number of salt packets and pepper packets for our meals. The person who identified as manager told us that they don’t have and handout those anymore because that’s policy and that too much salt is not good for our health. This is the only KFC store that has ever told us this rubbish. We have been on the road for 3 months and have never experienced this before. Firstly I don’t believe there is a policy that salt and pepper packets are not provided and secondly that it’s not done for customers health. Our order was also mucked up. We won’t be using KFC...
