Was expecting some great coffee from this place given the high rating it’s getting however coffee seemed bitter and unpleasant - Additionally the service was also quite slow.

Hi Rush Roasting,
It is unfortunate that you are unable to accept all feedback from your customers. The purpose of platforms like Google Review is to allow users to express their PERSONAL OPINIONS regardless if it’s positive or negative.

Regardless of the medals that you’ve won, the fact is my experience with your coffee was not enjoyable and bitter. Also we visited during a non-peak period and waited well over 10 minutes for just 2 lattes. (Hint: maybe you should reconsider your cafe name - Rush doesn’t seem fitting 😉)
Your condescending tone suggests to me you do not listen to your customers and are dismissive of any criticisms that comes your way. With that said, I hope you can understand why I have now changed my 3 star to a 1...
Read moreThe first danger sign was the poor experience on entering for my first visit, despite the half empty restaurant. I was left to find my own table. OK, but in a very cold climate two doors opening and shutting, one nearby, soon had me looking for a less freezing spot. The chairs have a cane seat with the rear timber crosspiece right at the bottom of one's spine - uncomfortable. The staff, mostly young girls, tended to speak loudly between themselves in Chinese, which I found bad mannered and annoying. The fish and chips dish was well presented, but the fish itself was tasteless and very flaky. The batter was OK, as were the chips. All in all, regrettably, I did not enjoy the experience, despite my hopes of finding a new comfortable noshery to enjoy my frequent lunches out. But despite the above, it is early days, and I wish the...
Read moreFirst time here, just parked the car as soon I got to Bowral and when I looked online this place was just 2 minutes around the corner. Place looks really nice and inviting, you can see the roasting machines through a glass window. Small oat late and a croissant $15.70 I was not sure what sort of blend of coffee they were serving today, but it was ok. I do like more nutty, caramel taste type of coffee like Campos Superior, but I guess I was expecting to much, being a roasting place. I was looking for the coffee and asked the lady if they had any list with the coffee they make and prices, and they don't have it. A bit disappointed, as I had to look online for it. And lost interest in purchasing coffee. Overall was a...
