absolutely shocking. about 3 weeks ago I had ordered take away late at night. I had gotten 2 dishes and a rice. I then went home and started to put the food on my plate and eat it. I then got a big mouthful of 3 black hairs in my mouth and gagged. I had called and she accused me of chopping them up and putting them in my own dish? (Mind you I have red hair) I was gobsmacked and absolutely appalled. My boyfriend had then asked if we could go out for lunch about a week ago, in which I agreed to do after I had that shocking meal experience. We went in and had waited 30 minutes just for someone to come around to the point of where I had to get up and order at the counter. Once I ordered our food took another 20 minutes just for entrees to come out and another 20 for a SINGULAR yum cha prawn dumpling dish to come out in which were bought from Aldi down the road. Our main then come out which was a $36 dollar meal and we got half a plate that looked like the dog had hooked into it before it even got to the table. I’d asked the lady if she’d be happy if she got it in a restaurant and she simply said “no I wouldn’t” turns out this lady was the owner and then tried to pitty with me that she had owned the restaurant for 5 years and that i've been her only complaint. In the end I didn’t even eat and simply walked out of the place. This is absolutely appalling and shows that you cant have good food a good dining experience nor good service in a little country town. id rather go hungry than to ever...
Read moreMy dining experience at this Asian fusion restaurant (chinese, thai, vietnamese) was quite satisfying. We ordered two season fish, crispy pork belly with Chinese broccoli, steamed rice, and Hainanese rice.
The standout dish for me was definitely the pork belly, which was superb in terms of flavor and texture. Its crispy and melty in your mouth. And the flavor was plenty balanced in its saltiness and sweetness.
The two season fish as the name suggest was prepared two ways, sweet and sour and chili basil. The sweet and sour fish was delicious, but the chili basil version left me wanting a bit more in terms of flavor. It was just okay, if anything a bit bland.
Considering the location I must say it's a good find. Service however was a bit lacking. Lets just say that the waitresses were not exactly the friendliest. The waitress could have been a bit nicer, but it's somewhat expected from many asian restaurants unfortunately.
In terms of pricing, it falls in the range of $20 to $30 per person, which is reasonable for the quality and variety of dishes offered. If you're in the area and craving actual good asian cuisine, this restaurant is...

Will we go again ? - No
"Old shop with vintage decor that still feels welcoming. The place has plenty of tables to accommodate all sorts of groups, from couples to big gatherings. The food quantity is good and priced just right. The taste is decent, not mind-blowing but not bad either.
However, the service was pretty terrible.
We ordered 2 starters, 2 mains, and 1 dessert, and had to wait 40 minutes for our mains. The staff and owner seemed busy catering to other Asian customers (Chinese, Vietnamese, and Thai), while people who came in after us got their food way before we did. When we asked about the delay, the lady rep responded rudely and loudly.
Given the bad experience, we're unlikely to return. The restaurant is located at the far end of...
